Vuulgar Posted November 21, 2020 Posted November 21, 2020 I am using MO2 and playing SSE with the mod Sexlab Approach Redux. I have used this mod several times before and after not playing for a while I came back to SSE and saw there was a new version so I upgraded and started a new game with 200+ mods and a few of them were Sexlab including Horrible Harassment to pair with Approach. After starting the game, all the MCM showed as usual except Approach. I could see the Lesser power that toggles Approach but it just fizzles and I could see an entry for Approach in AddItem menu but most items name had squares in place of letters. Thinking it might be a version problem I went back to the point I added Approach right after character creation and switched to the older version but no MCM. I have made a clean saves, redownloaded to make sure I had the correct version, used console command to force MCM reload, verified I had the english version. Besides Approach and Horrible Harassment, I am using Kidnapped Redux, Defeat, Fertility Mode, Aroused by Baka and Separate Orgasms and all work besides this one. I posted in the Approach thread but there isnt much traffic there, so I came here hoping. There was one other person in that thread talking about MCM not showing sometimes on different saves so maybe a conflict? I looked in SSEEdit but I saw nothing with my very limited knowledge of that tool. Thanks

That can be quite tedious, however. I have also found that sometimes (not always) you can achieve the same result by using this: https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/36801 Good luck

Just because I am a glutton for punishment I went back again and loaded a few mods at the same time and no MCM again. Separate Orgasm and Defeat are the only 2 in common from before and I use Defeat often so maybe some type of conflict with SLSO? I am at my cussing limit for today I think...

Don't forget that it isn't just the mods but the order. If you think you've got a handle on which mods are interacting try switching them around in your load order. If you are interested, you can also look for the conflicts in TES5Edit (although learning how to do this and fix issues will also be time consuming).
SimpleLife Posted June 9, 2022 Posted June 9, 2022 Approach giving me the same issue. It never shows up on a new game. I have to save, uninstall approach. Load game, save it, then reinstall approach before it shows up again. After that its always up. I get the same issue with SLHH sometimes, but less often
anjenthedog Posted June 9, 2022 Posted June 9, 2022 I have a mod that was released prior to 1.5.80. Once I performed the 1.5.97 update, the only instance of the game (ie the only "player" who shows the MCM )is my original 1.5.73 player. (Quick Spotlight, long since removed from download sites I'm aware of) I suspect that some older mods, designed for or during a specific version, aren't handled properly in subsequent Skyrim versions (or perhaps it's the version companion SKSE) Anyway, its hotkey still works in all the player vectors (I have one male vector and three unique female vectors), but for all but the original male player, I can't position the spot light due to the MCM not showing up. I have applied the mod-kickstart mod, so I don't think that that's the problem.
