The "global id" thing is only needed if you want to avoid shortcut key conflicts ( e.g. shift + x ) while two mods using the same shortcut key are on screen at the same time.

I was misunderstanding something. I thought that "using GLOBAL ID" was to save the costume settings for each character. I would like to try it if I can understand it someday. 1
