jaam Posted August 3 Posted August 3 Also nothing in this mod is game version dependent, you only need to have a working AAF (including the correct version of LL_Fourplay dll).

deviantic69 Posted August 14 Posted August 14 I got a question: If I dismiss them, (Get out of here) to a settler I rescued, does that mean they're permanently gone? I mean, if I send them off, will they respawn in that area after some time like a dungeon reset? I need to know if I send them away costs me in the long run. As in, if they're gone, the don't respawn I lost the chance to recruit them and I can't populate my settlements. So, do I tell them to wait there until I can recruit them or do I just tell them to go?

My patch ups the number a good bit, but the games RNG is less than optimal, so you can still get duplicates in the same location, just not as often. 1

Your fallout4,ini Papyrus section should look similar to this: bEnableLogging=1 bEnableTrace=1 bLoadDebugInformation=1 bEnableProfiling=1  Generally, when you see stack errors you have a bad issue that needs addressed. The bad thing about tracking down stack dump errors is, the listed mod might NOT be the cause, but a symptom of another mod causing problems. (aka script lag) Also, running to many Creation Club mods it not a good idea. Not saying you are. That shite is generally broken at some level. Simply put, CC mods are the garbage bin of mods. And the AE update opened a Pandora's box of crap.  I'd start with the basic debugging. Make darn sure the base game is working correctly (as correctly as a Bugthesda game can be) and go from there.

Told about 3 or 4 of them to wait after I rescued them because I didn't know for sure if that area will spawn captives again  Or just any area in general if I get rid of them. Well, since they respawn, I'll tell them to go. When I get my settlement up and running I'll start recruiting. Thanks for the quick reply.
deviantic69 Posted August 23 Posted August 23 Is there a way to edit the captives with LooksMenu? Cause so far I can only edit their bodies and I think a few sculpts on their faces but nothing drastic. And can't change the hair either. I know that if you found a captive in some area, then reloaded the save and that captive has their appearance changed like it'a facegen morph or something. But no drastic changes to their appearance with LooksMenu. Is there a way or I missed something? Sorry, I'm new to Fallout 4 and I'm still learning.

You'll need Face Riper and xEdit to edit them since they use the same format as vanilla settlers. But, without my patch, you'll play hell finding the "Settler" you want to import the face to. MajorWard Posted Thursday at 12:06 AM Posted Thursday at 12:06 AM Just in case anyone else has run into a glitch where you can kill yourself (player.kill in the console, FatMan fired directly at your feet etc.) and you can be killed by, say, a car exploding right by you but enemies bringing your HP to zero does the following:  - Camera switches to 3rd person - Death sound plays - Loss of control - Instead of ragdoll and reload, the player character stands still for a few seconds - Camera suddenly goes bonkers and the player character drops below the map for a second or two - Player character suddenly has full health again and control is restored  After some trial, error and research, I discovered protected status will only allow the NPC to be killed by the player character, which fits with the above, so I wondered if my player character had been granted protected status at some point.  I have this mod and have it set to apply Protected status to captives.  I vaguely remember accidentally selecting a cross I'd just freed a captive from and my character getting onto it so I wondered if this had given me the protected status.  This status cannot be added or removed by the console (as far as I know) so I turned the mod off, found a Super Mutant Suicider and let it do its thing, which killed me correctly. After reloading and re-enabling the mod I repeated this and was killed again so it seems toggling the mod off, getting killed (not sure if this is required) and then turning it back on after reload clears the protected status. Hope this helps! Â

Yep, its possible, You need an old version of captives. For me .92 works. Went back because I couldnt stand the mediocre captives as settlers in my settlements
