Yes, but right now, we only have "Custom Music" framework to "Replace" existing sounds...  and thats not very clean to do...
(Devious Valley replaces 2 sounds from the Praire King minigame nobody plays, for sex sounds)

 

In the next Stardew Update 1.6, it is said to have a proper way to add "New" sounds.....  I am Super looking forward to that and other exciting features.

The mod is nice, but... far too many scenes without a farmer. I just don't want to watch. I want to participate!

When the mod was made many years ago, there was no way to add the farmer to the action, no animations.

So many of the Frat npc heart events don't have the farmer included on their action. (Trevor Events would be the exception to this rule tho)

 

But there is other content like prositution, husband love, Dominus and Barry who has plenty of events with the farmer.

There are 3 things to consider, you can resolve them in whatever way you choose :

 

1- I learned this one in a bad way...  an unnoficial korean translation made without my permission was made in a very dirty way...  
Whoever did that one, translated many code commands in the mod  like  "$a#$b#" or the "speak (NpcName)" etc...  that caused an inmense number of "invisible issues" i couldn't debug when asked for help...    So my advice would be..  Be very mindful of the code command grammar when you translate.

 

2-I am constantly working on new content/updates for Devious Valley,,, so be sure to tell your users wich Exact version they need to Use the translation patch.

 

3-I would leave it to you consideration to make a Loverslab page of the translation, it is not required from my part.

This is assuming you are aware that Devious Valley doesn't have an actual translation structure the i18n... 

I don't plan to add it, since it qould be madness at this point,, so if you choose to do it manually/Directly to the code, good luck!

But I ran into some questions about the description of the items in Brandon's room. When I right-click on an item in Brandon's room, a description of the item appears. Strangely, however, I did not find the description text of these items in the json file in the mod file. So I wanted to ask which file in the mod I could find these texts in.

As for the Brandon descriptions....  well....

Those are "Map actions"...  you made those in the tbin file itself, you need "Tiled" to edit those 2 (Its a free opensource tool)

 

If you do edit those...  just be sure to warn the users that they can´t use other versions of Devious Valley...

I´ll try to move those descriptions to the DeviousContent.json next time, so they are easier to track.

 

Again, good job and i hope they have fun with the mod

Hi, it's me again. I don't know if anyone else has encountered this problem, but in the forum where I post Chinese, someone has encountered this problem.
When they talk to Kent, the slave, certain options fail to develop properly and instead return to the previous conversation. After our discussion, we found that this may be because "DeviousContent>content.json>line 1108" is missing "#(Back to questions)".

 

I've added "#(Back to questions)" on line 1108, and I hope that's not wrong.

Yeah, It was going to be part of the content for the new Gus private club contet.

I had to cut that content, since the scope of it was too big.

Stardew official update is also coming, so big content like that will have to wait.

As far as I know based on other users :

It is compatible.

 

Some have reported that only the last bachelor you married is the only one that triggers the sex scenes. 

Other have reported that the sex scenes trigger for all the bachelors on the same night.

 

Either way, both mods work well together.

There is an ongoing issue with PyTk (The framework that make the HD portraits possible)

Users are installing the Lite version instead of the full one. 

And they are doing that because Smapi is telling users that a new version of PyTk is avalible on nexus (The lite version).

 

Sadly this is all a mess up the author of PyTk did on nexus.

So, long story short. Delete your PyTk and go to nexus and get the full one.

The Barry questline should be accesible right away, no matter what year you are on.
HIs questline is started when you enter his room, then you go to the Gus saloon at noon/night.

On the mod folder, I added a .txt file called EventGuideSpoilers_1_0_35.txt  , in there you can double check the quests and how to progress them.
If the events are not triggering, then there is something wrong with your installation. (Very likely a missing requirement not being installed)

For that you can come to my discord, and go to the support channel and ask for help.

It seems you have the old version 1.0.7 Instead of the 1.0.35
The old version is just for mobile users.

That happens because there are issues with the installation.

Well, It seems your log is clean, so it has to be something else.

These are just some suggestions on things to look for :
 

-This is assuming the Frat building in blue above/north Sam's house is not spawning :

1. Are you using Vortex? - Vortex omits and corrupt game files for stardew and nobody should use it to play modded stardew.

2. Are you using a translation patch that ask you to overwrite Devious Valley? - Those (When not done properly) can cause the code to not do its job of spawning places and npcs.

3. Are you using a BIG map replacer? - Some "Recolors" or "Expanded" mods do change the map or replace them entirely, borrowing some modded changes under them forever.

 

It has to be some of the above (Even the point before 1.)
If None of the above seems to be issue, then the issue is :

 

4.Another mod changing things internally in a way we cannot understand.

 

It does happen with some framework mods who are made OUTSIDE of Smapi, making their own rules and breaking everything silently.

For that case, you would need to :

-Remove everything but Devious valley AND its requirements

-Then run the game and check if the Blue building spawns. (If not, then there is something wrong with your game files/Save file).

    +But if it spawns :

-Test the mods by adding them 1 by 1 until you find out who is the guilty mod causing for the building to not spawn.

1. I was talking about the house above Sam's.

2. I'm not using vortex.

3. I was using an expansion and recolour mod so I removed them (It still didn't load in). so I emptied my mods folder except for Devious valley and it's requirements and it still didn't show up. Then I thought I might have mis downloaded Devious valley so I removed and redownloaded It (nothing changed). Them I deleted Stardew and Smapi and reinstalled them and then added the mods back(Devious valley and it's requirements) and it still wont appear so I think there is something wrong with my game file/save files and although I have tried to delete them whenever I load in the game they are always still there (even after redownloading the game).https://smapi.io/log/8313be5dd4ed48f081c3076015e78e8a

Ok so I figured out how to delete my save files but nothing has changed so I'm assuming it is an issue with my game file however I'm not sure what to do about it since redownloading Stardew valley didn't work.
