I recently downloaded this yesterday, and while initially, it didn't entirely work (prostitution mainly), I couldn't fix all the errors required. So to rectify this, I moved my game to the legacy version 1.5.6 to play with this mod. After which ensured they all worked together it's running smoothly now and I am loving it as a result the only issue I have now is minor enough that it is okay if never fixed but while all other portraits work fine Demetrius and Shane both HD portraits do this and I don't know the best course of action to fix it. (if the image doesn't work what happens is it zooms in on a corner showing only a bit of the head with lines cleared out like it zoomed in to see between pixels

Most of the issues are because you have an extra mod with duplicate patches.
 

The mod is called "Npc Professor" (Not sure where did you get it.)
Just remove/delete that folder.

 

If you have already a save file were you played with that setup, it may have some sort of corruption.
So its adviced to start a new safe afte that fix.

I would also advice to make a new log after testing that, to check if that was the only issue, or if there are more.

Is there a way of playing in 1.6 version? I tried different version of this mods, but I always get the same errors.

I have been working on the updated version of the mod for 1.6+

This version of Devious Valley 1.0.35 will become obsolette after that release.

Its been a LOT of work, more than I anticipated, but we are getting there.

Oof, sorry.

I do know how to make i18n translation method, but it would be MADNESS! to implement it at this point.
The mod had Googleplex ton of custom dialogue added by me and enthusiast writers who have colaborated for the project in the past.
PLus will make it more harder for me to debugg the code.

 

I have given the persission like to 2 different persons to actually translate the whole mod Raw.
With the condition of them keeping it updated on their own.. as I am MegaBussy Updating and making content for the new mod.

Hi, firstly thank you so much for the mod and all the work work you've been putting into it. The issue I'm facing is with the prostitution thing not triggering (just gives me the "open from x" message). At first I thought it's because I needed to gain some affection first but now I think that isnt the case. Any help would be appreciated. Here's my log:

Edit: also, I'm not sure if some of the events are triggering as they should. For example a scene with the professor he just said one sentence about he's glad how things are going then I heard a door open but nothing else happened and I had to skip. Also there was a brandon and alex scene behind a tree but brandon's sprite was very far away from Alex's. etc.

Hello, sorry, I really like your mod and have a lot of fun with it.💯

 

But I encountered a problem. When I used the female protagonist to marry Sorren and Willy, I couldn't trigger the husband's sex scene, and even the original sex scene at Willy's house at night was gone.

 

I have used Free love MOD, and also added PlannedParenthood MOD because there has been no sex scene after marriage, but no scene has appeared.

 

Please help me.😭

Oh, I saw it was written in the introduction that only original marriageable characters will have post-marriage scenes, so Sorren and Willy doesn’t have them?

 

After marrying Willy, the scene at his house at night disappeared. Is this also because of this?

 

Then there is the problem of Free love MOD. It seems that I made a mistake...haha, sorry.😓

 

Finally, I would like to ask about how to trigger Gus’ private bar?
In the bar, the wooden bear statue is always there...

Are these issues due to the mod not being built for SDV 1.6+ or do I have some other issues? If I try to go into the Frat area my game just freezes.

Yep. It hasn't been updated yet. Part of that is that DV was switched to use "Dynamic Game Assets" (DGA) which was abandoned by its creator and thus is no longer supported in 1.6.

There was a previous version of Devious Valley that didn't require DGA which kinda half worked in 1.6. If I recall when I tried it, the assets are in place, but most of the actions are broken.  

  

However, Undare says in his discord that he's working on an update and anticipates releasing a beta in October if all goes well. Be sure to support him like a good lil FinSub if you like his content.

As a note. Devious Valley is no longer supported. (Devious Valley only works with Stardew 1.5.6, an old version of the game.)
It will become obsolette once I release the full version of Craterdom here on Loverslab. (That is exclusive with Stardew 1.6+)

I can't provide prostitution for bachelors, and the furniture can't be bought and displayed, and the professor won't sell it to me.😭Can only trigger goodwill, but can't trigger other events.

Look, this mod is no longer supported.
I already released the Craterdom Beta on my server. It is up to date and compatible with Stardew 1.6+

This seems to be the most recent stardew valley post so I'm just asking here. There was a mod that edited NPC dialogue to account for the player being naked. It seemed really nice but it released right before a major update which made it not work anymore. I haven't used this mod in over a year or maybe half that so im not sure if it's the most up to date version, but seeing as how the mod is no longer on nexus anyways it's probably better then nothing. At least this way it can be preserved. I guess for legal reasons i should say that i didn't create this mod and im not affiliated in any way with the person who made it but if somebody did feel like re-uploading it or making an update to it for the current version of the game that'd be pretty cool.
