I've read a lots of topics about this problem and tried some solutions, but nothing worked. I have 2 saves, 1st one (done main storyline + dawnguard, plus a lot of minor quests) workes perfectly fine am able to fast travel whenever i want. The 2nd one doe doesn't allow me to fast travel. I can fast travel right when i leave house/cave/city but only for a short period of time (like 1-2 seconds), after i walk and doing stuff for a little bit i'm not able to fast travel both with restraints and without, doesn't matter. Properly cleaned save - didn't help, bounty trick didn't work either, i don't have previos saves so i couldn't test it. Right now i just "failed" the horn of jurgen windcaller and on my way to riverwood to meet delphine. I think problem started when "the horn of jurgen windcaller" begun or even earlier (after i killed first dragon). I also had a problem in the same save after i killed a dragon and absorbed the soul i got killed somehow, but i think it got fixed when i cleaned this save. LOOT is used too.

Tell us why you did clean the save?

That is not best thing to do. You say you only have 1 save? Do you use autosaves and quicksaves only, that is one bad thing to do.

 

What tool have you used for installing your mods?

Some devious devices mods have settings to disable fast travel if you're wearing devices or with an active DD quest or always. I'd start by checking these mods features/MCM.

I did clean save cuz nothing else did help. I have different deffault  saves for my main character, i've got problem on my second character where i did save on save (pressed on previous save and allowed new save to overwrite the previous one) sometimes i used quicksave but not as often as i did it on my main character. And i use mod organizer 2 for my mods.

Forgot to mention it, i already checked it, everything as i have it on my main character (where i don't have this issue), turned off every "disable fast travel" option in "devious devices equip", cursed loot have quest only option checked. Couldn't find anything related to this in dd's mcm nor zaz's mcm plus i can't fast travel even without dd items.

Also why cleaning the save is a bad option, i checked every solution and every one of them didn't help, cleaning the save was the last option i had, plus i've got this problem way before i did clean the save.

I get this message when I try to fast travel. I don't think that it's mods fault, cuz I have another character whith hundreds hours played on it with same mods and I never got a message there... My brain is fucking itself right now...

It's not a mod's fault - the fault is yours. That is not, as far as I know, a vanilla message - it is coming from a mod. You installed the mod.

Now I'm confused, it is in fact a vanilla message?? You can get this message without having a single mod, if u're inside the house for example. It's defenetly my fault doe and ik that, but i didn't came here to hear who's fault it is, i asked for a solution and got answers and i tested what i didn't test before nothing helped. I checked every mcm menu, nothing that could cause it, plus as i told before i have another character with many hours played on it with the same mods/same mcm settings and didn't have this problem, that's why i ended up here, cuz i can't understand what causes this problem and how to solve it. There is a simple solution by not using fast travel and travel by foots, but i am curious of how tf could this have happened.

The problem is that nobody here knows your mods and game like you do. If you cannot find the cause then the chances of anyone else doing so are slim.

 

The way I see it is that you have two options.

1. Ask in the various DD support threads to see if anyone recognises the message.

2. Start a new game without the DD mods and then add them one at a time until the problem appears.

I was having fun with those functions long time ago and if i remember correct message is same no matter what is blocking fast travel...

 

You should check in game if Fast Travel is enabled or not... if its disabled then ofc. some mod is blocking Your fast travel...

if fast travel is enabled but u still can't use it then You should also check Cell where You are...

 

World Cells can have blocked Fast Travel too... not only Interiors but Exteriors too...

 

 

I could write Script for You that will check Your fast travel status and enable it for You if its disabled...

but tbh i don't want to help You...

That line is from basegame.

And yea I have it when I try to fasttravel from inside things and it dont come from DD.

Also some mods do activates it, like survival mode.

Because if it was the base game it would not say 'currently' - fast travel is either possible or not possible from a given location. I may be wrong but I cannot think of a situation where the ability to fast travel changes. CW quest line?

CW is one of them.

There are some other questlines to. And you can also get one bug when you talk to Delphine and you will find your self not enable to fasttravel after that.

Do think that one is fixed by Usleep.

And OP dont have Usleep installed or even the lose patches. It also corrects lines in the game, there are some odd spellings that is corrected.

Nope. I've never played the vanilla game so I forget that my game is not 'normal'.

 

I rarely FT but the only time I ever get stopped from doing it is when I'm encumbered and then the message states the reason why I can't FT. 'tgm' gets around that one.

Meh... different racemenu presets use different eye and hair mods, different racemenu presets interract differently with dd items like ballgags. 

 

Before i go on forums and create any topic or ask i try my best to solve the problem i've got, and i did solve a lot of problems by myself, but there are some bugs and issues that i just couldn't find a solution on my own, but thx for taking some of ur time and answering and explaing some stuff to me, i'll take it as a neutral/positive criticism and will try my best to not be annoying in the future, i quess i'm sorry that i'm not a smartass. (I'm not trying to be rude)

Did you try looking into papyrus.log? If I understood you correctly, Fast Travel is working just after leaving some buildings, but gets disabled afterwards - it looks to me as some script working on Cell Change or something - maybe it writes in log why it is doing that?

DumpInputEnablelayers   hit enter   some lines will show up   depends on how much stuff is running there will be numbers at the end of them 

look for the one that says  fast travel  when you find the one that says fast travel   type in console  ResetInputEnablelayer  hit the space bar then put that # in and hit enter

you'll be set to fast travel
