Not sure why, but my Looksmenu Sliders are refusing to work. All the requirements are met, and the sliders are visible in the game, but when I use the sliders to say, adjust boob size, nothing changes. Doesn't matter whether it's me as a female or NPC's. Doesn't matter whether it's CBBE sliders or Fusion Girl sliders. Nothing works.

If it's a brand new install : did you generate morph files when you created the meshes inside Bodyslide?

If it's an old install: does it happen starting a new game?

Morphs are ticked.

You know, I think it DID start after a new game!! It was after I had a problem with AAF not manually advancing, so I switched it out.

Ok, fresh install........

AAF 147

Bodyslide 4.8

Looksmenu

Looksmenu Corundum

(Deleted Looksmenu.swf so I could get my presets & advanced body features to show).

Installed CBBE.

Installed Looksmenu sliders.

Went into Bodyslide & made my body with morphs on.

Went into the game.

Got into Looksmenu with a follower.

Hit B for body & T for advanced.

Moved the boob slider & nothing happened.

Then it's not what I though, a specific issue that can happen on running games but doesn't happen in new games.

Do you mean you were editing a follower? are you sure that looksmenu allows you to do that? afaik, you can only morph the player through looksmenu

Other than that, if your morph are in the right folder, your looksmenu works correctly, and your F4SE too, I don't see any other valid reason to not work.

Go into Looksmenu.

slm (number of follower or NPC).

Profit.

Been doing it for years......Literally.

I mean morphs don't work for npcs, the "hit B for body and T for advanced" thing, everything else works.

For me morphs also work for npc, even with unique player and followers models mod

Interesting. They never worked for me in the past previous games since the first versions, I just tried in this last game which has a couple of months and they work fine!

Ok, so now that we figured out that I'm not lying, can someone tell me why mine aren't working? Maybe tell me what you got installed that I might've overlooked??

Possible problems:

1)morphs not builded for the outfit or body (if testing nude)

2)sliders in looksmenu are for another body (for example sliders for cbbe but body is fusion girl)

Do the looksmenu's advanced sliders only work for women and not men?

everything works for me. The male body is an atomic muscle. No problem.

I'm using Bodytalk3, don't know if that is incompatible or not.

compatible with what? Bt3 has its own set of sliders for bs and looks menu, as far as I know. I've used it before, and I didn't have sliders in the looks menu either. I play as a female character, the male body is less critical for me. Therefore, I did not begin to deal with this problem, but simply put the atomic muscle. This body is also compatible with zaz zex bones, but the mesh and unwrap are, I think, less neat than bt3. bt3 is naturally better.

What I'm trying to say is, the female characters have the advanced option in the body section of looksmenu sliders available while the male ones don't.

bt3 should also have a set of sliders in the looks menu. I don't know what's wrong with him. Some kind of mistake, either on our part, or the guys that did bt3 made a mistake somewhere. With all versions up to the latest, I had no problem with morphs. It is necessary to understand, but laziness. It's easier to just use the atomic muscle.

Does bt3 have any incompatibility issues with any mods?

Found in the comments on the nexus...

"For those having issues with the Looksmenu Sliders, rename the BodyTalk.esp folder in Data\F4SE\Plugins\F4EE\Sliders\BodyTalk.esp to BodyTalk3-LooksMenu.esp and the text file in Data\Interface\Translations\BodyTalk_en.txt to BodyTalk3-LooksMenu_en.txt."

How exactly do I do that, if I'm using the Vortex Mod Manager?

you can manually edit files in vortex by right clicking the mod and clicking "open in file manager"
