After updating and using d3d11, I noticed that the thumbnails of characters in the game have errors. I'm not sure what's causing this. Is it just Log.txtme who has this issue, or is it happening to everyone This is a known issue. I'll see what I can do about it. That and a lot of other tiny bugs will get fixed with time. Everyone else, I'm working on a little error reporting application that will be bundled with future versions of RTBP. When an RTBP-related error occurs, it'll pop up and allow you to send your log to me if you desire. Optionally, you can add your email address and a comment if you'd like to potentially be contacted by me regarding your log. I might want to get in touch for testing purposes. This is, of course, completely optional. The tool will never send anything without your permission. Nothing personal will be collected, just your log file and maybe some hardware information in the future. The logs go directly to a server owned by me, nobody but me will ever have access to it. This is a far better way of sending me your reports compared to having to do it manually here on Lover's Lab. Best of all, they'll be inserted into a database that I'll be able to query for search terms to find out how many users are having a certain problem.

Reddud3 Posted March 1 Posted March 1 I seem to abruptly crash loading CAS. I get no logs anywhere except in the RTBP folder, so I figured it could be RTBP related. Build Buy and Live mode work fine, and RTBP seems functional there. Log.txt

CPVC Posted March 3 Author Posted March 3 Here's the initial version of the error reporter if you'd like to try it out. In the future this will run after RTBP crashes and allow you to send an error report if you'd like. The contents of your log file, your email address (totally optional), and a comment (also optional), will be sent to my server and inserted in a database where I'll be able to search the collected logs and hopefully figure out how to fix some of the issues plaguing RTBP. Try it out if you'd like. It should automatically find your log file and send it to my server. We're just testing right now, so feel free to send as many error reports as you like and type whatever into the optional fields. Let me know if there are any problems. Oh, and I'm using free hosting so the server might not have 100% uptime or it could be slow or something. RTBP Error Reporter v0.1.zip

Hi, I’m trying to install RTBP v2.0 (build Jan 1 2026) and the installer fails during the “requisite libraries” check. Miller826 Posted March 5 Posted March 5 Thanks for all the hard, free work. I have two comments. 1. Awesome that RTBP for DirectX 11 is now available. However, under "Note on DirectX 11" it stills says that RTBP requires the DX9-version of the game to be played. I think that needs to be updated. 2. On the mod page you say that peeps with an "Intel GPU" need tp make a change to the graphics rules of the game. But in your readme-file that comes with the mod you say that peeps with Integrated GPU's need to make that change. Those things are not the same. So which is it? Thnx.
IcarusV6 Posted March 7 Posted March 7 Hi! I love you mod Do you have a settings file to share?? This update came without the config, so i don´t know how to enable the physics correctly. I enabled some of the "testphysics" flags and i got something.

I'll go over the docs and make sure everything is correct and up to date. Regarding the Intel/integrated issue, in my mind they both mean the same thing so I use them interchangeably. Its a holdover from days past, back before Intel made discrete GPUs. But yes, I should clarify that the type of GPU I'm referring to is an Intel integrated GPU, the kind that is built in to the CPU and shares memory with the GPU. When the Sims 4 detects a GPU of this type it will do skinning on the CPU rather than the GPU. It must be faster to do it that way, but it completely bypasses RTBP. Changing the configuration file is necessary to prevent this. On 3/6/2026 at 6:53 PM, IcarusV6 said: Hi! I love you mod Do you have a settings file to share?? I like it pretty tame. If you want to see some major boobage, try out flags "textAltBreastPhysics1" or "testAltBreastPhysics6". Remember to only enable one at a time.
fqjweyfejwaajytwfjaajejtfj Posted March 16 Posted March 16 hiya, when i install this (using the installer in the gui tools folder), it says everything is okay, but then when i try to launch the game (even without the mods folder, just in case), the ea app says its launching, and i get a flash of white as if the game has launched, but then nothing. for some reason i can't link the log file here, but i can tell you it's literally blank. like there's absolutely nothing there when i open it, and its listed as 0KB
APassingGhost Posted March 18 Posted March 18 I don't know if this has already been asked/addressed/fixed, but I think the mod is causing my sims' meshes to be a little weird in CAS? My female sims' breasts seem to have their tips locked in one spot, making it look really weird because the rest of the body is moving but the tips aren't, and also the meshes become uneditable. Any idea what's going on there?
APassingGhost Posted March 18 Posted March 18 Upon further inspection, I can just manually turn off simulation in CAS, so nevermind

APassingGhost Posted March 19 Posted March 19 Wait I have a real bug to report Uh for some reason children are broken and sort of spaz everywhere
CPVC Posted March 19 Author Posted March 19 (edited) RTBP v2.1-p1 is up. Very little changes have been made to RTBP, but it now ships with a little tool I'm calling the RTBP Companion. In addition to reporting errors, it will check for updates, run diagnostics, and other things I decide in the future. The Companion is completely optional. If you'd rather not have have anything to do with it, just delete it. If it is available, though, RTBP will launch it in error report mode when an error occurs and allow you to optionally send an error report to my server so that I can examine it. I'm hoping that collecting more error reports will give me the information I need to fix some of the problems facing RTBP. Far too many users are still having issues and I hope to fix that so I can start working on other things. When launched on it's own, the Companion will be in "hub" mode, allowing you to choose what feature of the application you'd like to access. The hub is where you'll get your RTBP news and be informed of any updates. If you rely on the Installer to install RTBP for you, you will need to get the latest version to install the update. Let me know if there are any problems and I'll get them fixed as soon as I can. Edit: Oh, and be patient with our servers. It's free hosting, so it's not super reliable. If you see connection error messages pop up, just wait a minute and try again. Real-Time Body Physics RTBP GUI Tools 2026-03-20.zip Edited March 19 by CPVC

CPVC Posted March 23 Author Posted March 23 Thanks for the log files, guys. It's been helpful. I've already gotten quite a few and it's clear to me that one bug stands out overwhelmingly as the main culprit of a lot of users' RTBP woes. I'll work on that right away. Another log I caught showed a user having problems getting RTBP working with ReShade. The old way of getting ReShade to work with RTBP doesn't appear to work anymore, but that's fine because there is no longer a conflict between RTBP and ReShade. ReShade hooks another DLL now and I can confirm that RTBP and ReShade work together without any extra work. If you were using the old method before, simply delete the "ReShade64.dll", "reshade.dll", etc in your "Game\Bin\" folder and install the latest version of ReShade on top of that. I will remove the old compatibility code from the next version of RTBP and the installer and I'll update the readme so there's no confusion. Thanks for the help and sorry about all the hiccups along the way. With the error reporting system, I should be able to get things fixed much faster. https://streamable.com/3t430b
CPVC Posted March 23 Author Posted March 23 If you are one of the users that just recently send me an error report through the Companion (within the last couple days), would you mind testing something for me? Try this DLL and see if it works for you, thanks. If I'm correct, this could fix RTBP for a lot of users. Fingers crossed. RTBP v2.1-p1-e1 (2026-03-22).zip
