Hello! Does anyone know where to get that oiled-wet effect texture? And that it stay always in the character skin and not only added by an armor. Or does anyone know how to create it but without modifying the ENB in each damn area of the game? Thanks.

Oh ... and I do not mean the classic sweat drops mod. I mean the same effect of the images that does not look anything like the sweat drops mod. Thanks.

I use that mod and it's a great mod, but it's not the same effect. That mod adds the effect of sweat drops and not wet-oil. But thanks anyway.

But the mod does just that. You just have to disable texture swap and just enable glossiness.

The same effect? I remember doing several tests on that but the result was a metal gloss, not a wet-oil gloss.

Can you show us a pic of your game with that effect made with Wet Redux?

Hello again.   ?

Have you done the process of that video? I want to try it because the skin effect of the Demoniac Mod is good but it is not the effect I am looking for, the effect I am looking for is exactly the effect of the video.

Do you know which screen the guy opens during the video and with which keys he opens it? It doesn't appear in my game that way.

He is using an enb, and you can activate it's interface by pressing shift+enter in the game. WetFunctionRedux + enb or enb alone can work to add glossiness and you can manipulate both to your liking while in game. Under objects in enb interface play around with specularamount and specularpower to get the desired glossiness. Here are some quick snapshots at 100 specular amount and power lol.

Well, that's precisely what I didn't want to do .. duh .. I mean .. changing the ENB values in each cell of the game, it's quite tedious (for me)

So the NifSkope '' technique '' actually produces the same wet effect as changing the ENB values .. BUT you only have to do it once and never again (body) and that's it

It also serves to add a wet effect to clothes and armors .. so it is really great actually

I use wet skin redux and have toggled of everything but gloss and turned that one up to maximum value of 600 in the mcm. The gloss is there and it works, but I get "much more" from editing values in ENB, or fooling around with glossiness and specularity in the nif files.

Well, as I said yesterday, there is no need to mess with the ENB, besides Skyrim is a game with shitty optimization of hell .. so even moving the ENB a little causes CTDs

So you just have to adjust the values of nif files (yep) in NifSkope and that's it, the effect is really fucking good, it's wet and not metallic at all

I had this exact question about a month ago and found a solution. I will give the instructions here.

  1. Make backups of the .nif files for your bodyslide files. (Ex. if you use CBBE HDT, make a backup of that. In my case I usually play as succubus race light which has its own body and I made backups of that so it only effects the player)
  2. Open bodyslide, then open outfit studio.
  3. Find the original bodyslide files for the body you use (not the copies, those are in case you mess up). Open them. Use Load Outfit, Not load reference!
  4. double click the base shape.
  5. for the heavy gloss you have in the pictures, set specular strength to 30 and specular power to 300.
  6. File, export, to .nif. SAVE OVER THE ORIGINAL FILES.

In theory that should work. The body now permanently has a gloss effect. However, you may need to repeat this process for hands, feet, and head models or there will be seams where the gloss stops.

There is also a chance that, if you change the body the entire game is working on, that you need to build the body in bodyslide after altering it.

Finally, sometimes this change creates gaps between hands/feet and the body if done wrong. It depends on your particular setup. This is why I only did it for the succubus race lite. Easier to fix by just reinstalling 1 mod.

Final note: The gloss might not carry over to outfits. You will need to adjust each outfit manually. But this too can be done and is much easier.

To adjust gloss for a specific outfit:

  1. Load project (select the outfit project (should be a .osp file)
  2. Find whichever part of the outfit has a body as the base shape.
  3. Change the base shape to desired gloss as in step 5 above.
  4. File, save project.
  5. Build in bodyslide.

Much easier process.

If you are worried about changing the raw body, there is one last trick you can use:

  1. Download any outfit that has bodyslide files.
  2. Load project in outfit studio, select the new outfit.
  3. delete every layer except the base shape.
  4. alter the base shape specular strength and power as above.
  5. save project.
  6. build in bodyslide.

using this method creates and equip armor that applies the base shape, but without any armor. It will still occupy a slot though, and in game you will be treated as being dressed not nude. But appearance wise, you will be nude and you didn't have to alter the body itself, just a single outfit.

In the above pic, change the "3" to "30" and the "30" to "300" for desired oil effect.

If you want something in between, I find that a 7/100 ratio is also pretty good.
