Got it. So, it is indeed some sort of public API at the target mods (or most of them). 

 

Well, I figured out how to handle Devious Followers at least. It starts with DF's own slavery system, which kinda makes RP sense. To make it actually playable, you have to disable the "classic" deals, leaving only modular ones. Also you have to set weights for the enslavement to start without deals.

As for Public Whore, I don't like the mod too, so I've set it up to trigger on 'hero fame', and gave it weight of 1 on SS++   This way it feels like a real risk of some really bad consequence. Same weight I gave to the Solitude Slaughtery, which would be the end of my character. 

Well, PW fired and my Imperial bitch got to service all of Windhelm, which was just a perfect hit so later I really focused on the civil war events  Also I liked how it bumped her sexual fame

This is great way to keep things interesting for those who've played Skyrim over & over.  When you've already walked the optimal paths and done the "best" quests, a random event from something like Simple Slavery sends you in a direction you wouldn't have chosen, which can be fun or at least refreshingly different.

Yes, it does, so your problems don't come from here.  PW's 'let others steal your stuff' (or whatever its called) is a long time problem and best completely disabled or it can break your game

I use Disenchant Freedom mod that allows me to collect enchantments from artifacts and faction armors. The Crafting Overhaul allows to make unenchanted copies of faction gear. So no loss would be unrecoverable

 

I also figured out where my stuff went. It was in SS++ chest in Riften. Wasn't obvious at all

Priceless! 😂   I'd forgotten all about that possibility.  Not an option I use often, TBH

Eh, I can't tell whether you're making fun of yourself or you were actually surprised by what happened.  Sometimes I goof by reading things too literally.  So, if you were surprised, I'll just mention that the "Remove inventory when enslaved" MCM setting is off by default, so a player has to choose to enable it.  The description explains what that does, but if something about the wording can be improved, please let me know and I'll see if I can make it better.

I think I just clicked it and forgot about it. The confusion came with the PW since PW also tries to remove your inventory so I thought it went to PW storage and then disappeared in nirvana
