ILove2Play Posted June 23, 2020 Posted June 23, 2020 Hi there, I've witnessed a bug which I'm quite annoyed by. Maybe it's two different ones, I don't know. Whenever I travel with my sims (doesn't matter where, even to work), everyone (really, all of the sims) start peeing all the time. The bladder is always full and they pee themselves, then stink. That's super annoying because they stop doing everything else and even debugging doesn't help. Only when I go back to main menu/worlds makes a difference. The other thing is, that whenever somebody visits my house, they start tenaciously baking white cakes. Only that, all the time. I've to so many mods installed, that I don't want to go through them all (but mostly clothes, hair and stuff), but the bug only came up since the last update (WW, CCM, Kinky whims, which I all updated and checked after encountering the bug. Does anybody know that bug, too? Somebody has any idea? It's not that annoying (yet) that I want to take out all the mods until I find the one causing the bug... Thanks in advance!

One of the later patches fixed the Pee Fire issue, or else it was fixed when I installed the ECO EP. If you don't have the ECO EP then it's not related. However it's the first time I've encountered this bug. From what I've read it's another bug from the ECO parch although a few had it even before that. Happened to me but only when my sim went to visit the Tinker Household (from ECO EP). Those Sims were all making white cake over and over until there was no more room on the counters and tables. Could be from one of those N.A.P.'s getting stuck on sims, but they never did it when visiting my sims household. (My sim lives in a different neighborhood than those sims) I disabled NAP voting in ECO game settings and used Shift+Click on my mailbox to disable some of them in my sims own neighborhood. But you have to somehow check/change all of them, (NAP mailbox cheat) in every other neighborhood in the game too. Sent my sim to all the other zones and used the 'Control Any Sim' to take control of another sim that lives there to check and remove, or add, NAP's with Mailbox Cheat. ECO Living EP has quite a few other bugs too BTW. Found a couple other mods for ECO bug fixes but you need to have the EP and not just the patch. Always this cake appears from nothing or visit sims drop it in the floor. Really weird

Visiting sim will come and harvest all my plants and/or steal all my recycling bits & pieces, (probably Sharing is Caring NAP, or Recycling Trait). NPC's can Dumpster Dive even when my active sims cannot. WW autonomous sex stops working on the new Community Lot types like 'Maker Space'. Edit: Having both toilets on lot disabled for sex all auto sex on lot stopped. Once I enabled them again sims are back to their normal banin' everywhere again. Sims are obsessed with Toilet Sex, nothing new here though. MCCC throws errors with auto bill pay if you have positive energy numbers from using Windmills, Solar Panels, and Dew Collectors. Paulson's NPCC mod, both new and old versions, will cause errors if the wrong settings are used. Was getting MCCC errors with Basemental's Bouncers in Sulani when I didn't even have any locations or sims to use them selected. (might have been caused by NPCC though) UICheats no longer works so I cant use it anymore, but I still get UIExceptions sometimes but they don't have any orange popup warnings at least. Some nice items found in dumpsters get bugged out. 14K Fridge found and needed no repairs, but did the all the upgrades, however any food cooked/or stored in it could not be eaten by sims. (Later purchased the same fridge and did the upgrades and works fine) 10K computer found that could not be repaired even by hiring the repair service, (she would have starved if I'd let her keep trying). (Sold for 5K and bought another) I'm sure most of these will get fixed over time though with more patches and mod updates.

Sucks that they released it with so many bugs?! But thanks for the suggestions. Actually, the pee bug is much more annoying than the cake-thing. I just don't invite people anymore. And I don't travel to avoid the pee-bug. But it sometimes (randomly) happens at home, too. Strange, strange. Thanks for all the answers! Edit: I'll try the bugfix! Edit 2: I did try the bugfix, but funny enough, when I went back into CAS with my existing family, there was some bug with the haircolour (it would switch back all the time, no matter what I chose, so I had to re-choose all the time). I don't know if that's connected, but I deleted the fix again and I'll check next time I'm playing.

Works once or twice then stops, but I suspect TURBO will add the new ECO lot types later anyway. Sims are obsessed with Toilet Sex, nothing new here though. Yes I do this a lot when trying to find and fix bugs. Also I remove all mods and load the game to the map screen and do a "save as" sometimes to clean the save.

Odds are you have more than one issue happening because those bug fixes have nothing to do with either CAS or haircolors. Deleting your localthumbcache in your TS4 folder on a regular basis can help sometimes especially when you add or remove mods. I'd also try doing an Origin repair just in case. Sometimes when I edit random sims in CAS and go back to live mode I'll see one or two other sims with a missing top half. Also happens sometimes when my sim just goes to another lot. Have to save, exit, and reload the game but it fixes them anyway.
