Hello! Its not really an issue but I need assistance (German/English)

Hello everyone, I need little help with one mod. Its not about is it working or not its simple translating so I can figure out from what mod that came and try to find eng patch for it. Can anyone tell me what does that mean and eventually from what mod it is : Komm, einen Hund wie dich kann ich gebrauchen

I just don't wanna poke unloading every mod to figure it out because now my game runs good and smooth and all is perfect. I'm suspecting Maria Eden, but cant be really sure since I used google translator and have no really clue .... thank you very very very much!

it is like looking for a needle in haystack !!!

 

you can load all your mods in Xedit  , than apply for cleaning , and than go through each mod that add or modify the dialog . ( do not change do not touch do not modify anything )  when you find the one  :  make a backup of your load order , make a backup of your mod.esp  than you can change the dialog to anything .   than save and  replace the newly esp in its right place in LO .

Presumably this is directed at your PC and not an actual dog?

Is this the only dialogue that pops up in German?

What happens after this dialogue?

If you play with an english Skyrim version and Maria Eden is the only mod in German in your LO it's rather easy right?

Unless you have also aSexyMod installed ?

he is asking a way to find a german dialog without knowin what mod and without the will of messing .  TessEdit  ( i presume it is already installed for cleaning dirty edits ) it can be used to find anything in skyrim pretty much as CK ( but faster ) .

 

if you rather guess what mod be my guest !

This is an UTF-8 single byte string, you can simply open an advanced text editor such as Notepad++ or Sublime and search for files. Files filter should be *.esp and/or *.esm, the search content should be the german text from above and the directory to search from should be your mods directory.

You can also write a simple xEdit script to compare texts from dialogue entries, select all your plugins and apply this script, but this is just more work when you can do that with a text editor without having to write scripts.
