Mods From A Foreign Website

So it's obvious I won't be able to download/install mods from Nexus indefinitely since I am IP blacklisted.  So I want to try something new for a change.  But I have some questions on downloading/installing mods from a foreign website.  For example I've been looking at these two websites a lot lately for mainly Skyrim SE and Fallout 4 mods.

https://modgames.net/skyrim_special_edition?sn=j1_164

https://gamer-mods.ru/

I already know about the whole translator thing.  But what translators are you guys using to translate the sites?  Also do the mods themselves need to be changed to English text?  If they need to be, how do you change the language?  I don't know much about these foreign mod websites, but so far some of the weapons and skimpy armor mods the sites have to offer look even better than what the Nexus has to offer.  If there's anything you can teach me, let me know.  Also are there more Russian websites like this with tons of mods?  I'm still going to plan on using Mod Organizer 2 for all of my games to install mods.  I like this set up better since I'm not making any changes to the vanilla game files.

I'm just saying your own risk, most Russian websites are notorious, in their mod links phishing mails and trojans to spread! :classic_wink:

Any other sites you can suggest that are like the set up of these sites?  I'm looking for tons of mods for the following games:

*TESIV: Oblivion

*Enderal: Forgotten Stories (I know Skyrim (non-SE edition) mods will mainly work for this game).

*Fallout 3

*Fallout New Vegas

*Fallout 4

*Skyrim Special Edition

I'm mainly looking for weapons, cosmetics, idles/animation, and definitely skimpy clothing & armor mods.  Thank you for the heads up, lonely hunter.  But what about the sites I showed in my last post?  Would these two sites be safe?

I am very sorry, I am already long no more Uptodate.
I haven't played Bethesda games in many years, therefore I'm not looking for mods anymore and cannot make any suggestions. :classic_sad:

Use a VPN?

Also, unless you're paying your ISP for a static address yours will expire at some point.

It's okay.  I have some sites listed and bookmarked from a past post someone made on here.  Thank God I have some mods already installed for Fallout 4 and Skyrim SE.  But I have none for the older Bethesda titles.  I appreciate your replies back.  I like it here on Lovers Lab so far.

Nah.  I know I can bypass the ban that way with a VPN, but I would rather avoid Nexus as much as I can.  I had an idea for future videos I want to cover when I'm ready to release more videos.  So far after researching the Russian websites, even on here, there's better armor and weapon mods I found.  I'm going to give these websites a try, but as lonely hunter said, I'll be careful what I download.

You might find other options in this thread

Lol, not for Americans. :classic_wink: OP is American :classic_laugh:

That's my point. 'Foreign' is a relative term and to the vast majority of the world, the USA is a foreign country and Americans are foreigners.

Lol!  You guys are funny.  I couldn't take anymore of this looking around.  So I decided to use a VPN to bypass the IP ban.  It worked too.  But from now on I'm only going to use the site to download mods and nothing else.  I'm posting my screenshots on this site from now on, but thanks for the laughs everyone. ??

I couldn't respond quickly because I was trying to find a work around so I can have access and install mods again.  I decided to go with the VPN.  It's easier.

I have spoken for myself, or have I other names mentioned?
but through your objection, you prove to me that I'm right. :classic_wink:

I have one problem with the mods on there.  I did a test run on a couple of mods in Fallout 4.  But I realized (was expecting this to happen) the text for the item in all fields are all in Russian.  Also I noticed my save game file location changed to Russian (good thing I did a separate save).  Is there a way to change the mod to have English text?

I'm totally new to it, but any information anyone has on how to do this would be an interesting YouTube video to make.  For now I caved in and got a free VPN so I can bypass the IP ban on Nexus Mods.  Finally!  I can install mods again for all my games.  Thank God! ??  But I still want to give these Russian mods a chance as an alternative route.  I'm going to hang on to these sites I bookmarked.
