Sadron Bregolien Posted June 1, 2020 Posted June 1, 2020 There are a bunch of mods I have installed where they're still in form 43 despite being an SE port. Is there a reason for this? Does it break them?
fred200 Posted June 2, 2020 Posted June 2, 2020 If you do convert it, it is no longer compatible with LE. Only convert if the LE version does not work on SE.

fred200 Posted June 2, 2020 Posted June 2, 2020 The best write-up I have seen on the 43/44 issue is this: https://www.reddit.com/r/skyrimmods/comments/5lyvf6/actual_relevance_of_forms_4344/
MadMansGun Posted June 2, 2020 Posted June 2, 2020 Arthmoor is full of shit and should be ignored, stay with 43.

I've never read or seen any solid evidence of what Arthmoor says. And while mator offers a good exposition of the technical differences for some records, it's in no way near the level of chaos Arthmoor preach about form43 in SE.
coolfreaky Posted June 2, 2020 Posted June 2, 2020 it is simple to verify the veracity of this shit : just open skyrim se with Xedit and look at the contenant of all "record heather" "forme version" from 15 to 44 it means for what game ( may be) it was made for but does not say anything about compatibilities .
