Hi, I don't uderstande because the marriage event triggers only when the hero is slave of a notable, which can't marry the hero. When the hero is slave of a noble there is no event. Suggestions?

I can't check for whether the hero is a slave of a noble, but 'notable' includes nobles, so it should trigger when the hero is slave of a noble - in fact, in my testing I can confirm that it does.

There's a sort of fallback check based on the fact that non-noble notables can't be given skills which causes the marriage event to trigger an event telling you your master isn't a noble and so can't marry you.

Have a problem with 1022 + 0.2.0, besides the error screenshot-ed above

As long as I have just one slave, all seems to work. As soon as I get two slaves, when I try to open the party tab, game crashes. I've been able to replicate this consistently.

Weird. I can confirm that I do not get this error, unless by 'slaves' you mean something other than captives.

I recommend completely deleting and reinstalling TBCE and maybe even CE as well. This is probably remnants of some previous modification of CE_captor_male_sexual_menu / female_sexual_menu interfering with the new versions. I can confirm that this does not occur in my current installation (which has not been modified since my last upload to this site).

Known bug: It looks like events are not respecting ReqHeroCaptorRelationAbove requirement values. I'm asking BL if there's some config change I need to make to make this work or if it's just a bug.

As a consequence, currently captured heroes will occasionally randomly become devoted to you for no reason, as though you were drugging them with mind control potions or something. Which is ... not intended.

Known bug: It looks like some events are not respecting {?ISCAPTIVEFEMALE} (but others are?). As a result the PIE events frequently refer to male captors as female. I recommend not using them on male captives atm for this reason. I'm asking BL if there might be something wrong with my config, as I don't see anything that looks obviously problematic.

Ended up deleting the whole game and now attempting a fresh install. Got completely borked after switching to beta 154, couldn't even launch a new campaign without crashing. I thought FO4 + AAF was fragmented, but this game is on a completely new level of unstable :)

Posted

Yeah - I had issues for a while where I couldn't install ... anything? even on the base game. Verified files, loaded a new version, suddenly works. Bannerlord is genuinely unstable, though considering the devs' record I believe it will get there before it leaves early access.

Will hopefully have a fix for the relation issue sometime today, if I can find the time around work.

While the menues still refer to my captive as "her", every scene refers to her as "him". This is using TBCaptivityEventsExtension 0.2.0 and CaptivityEvents1.5.3.1021.zip

Also, captor is male, captive female.

Ah, saw that it was a known bug. Sorry.

No worries, always good to get more data, particularly as I mostly see the opposite (scenes referring to 'her' when the captive is male). I'll hopefully get more information from BL sometime tonight to see whether there's a fix or workaround.

11/08/2020 - 0.2.1 : The Affection update - for CaptivityEvents 1021+

One file has been renamed in this update. For this reason, it is necessary to either delete your current installation and reinstall or, before installing, delete the Events/TBCaptorEventsCommon _Slavery.xml file.

  • This is basically just a bugfix update from features that didn't work in the previous version. It necessitated a wide refactor of events, however.
  • Added Obedience and Affection skills to player captives which are used in stead of Relation and SlaveryLevel. This means any captives you have will basically be reset, status-wise, for the purpose of events in this pack. (unless they're already devoted or broken). It also means that events will actually correctly take these values into account, so a net win.
  • Added colorization to skill gains. Regular skills are green, as they are in the default game. Affection/Obedience skills are cyan, to signify that they're more relationship markers and less skills. Toggle skills, like Devoted or Broken, are magenta.
  • These changes should also make the Thief events play nice(r) with the default captive events.

Actually - I've just been reviewing this, and I think you're right - Notable doesn't behave the way I thought. Which is odd, as this event used to work. I'll try to have a patch out tonight to fix it once I can make sure I've correctly rebalanced the slavery behaviors, because right now they're really out of whack (getting sold constantly)

This looks interesting but i am so confused, how do i install this? I downloaded the zip file. unzipped. now where do i put it?

  1. Make sure you have CaptivityEvents installed. This mod does nothing without it.
  2. Download the TBCaptivityEvents file.
  3. Unzip the file into the Modules folder of your Bannerlord installation.
  4. Open the Modules folder and check that the TBCaptivityEvents folder is present.

11/08/2020 - 0.2.2 : The Married Slave update - for CaptivityEvents 1021+

This is basically just a bugfix update which:

  • Fixes the 'marry your captor' event for female players to actually trigger and work, and provides new images for it
  • Fixes enslavement / trading behaviors for enslaved players so that (though there may be a few odd or fast trades along the way) they will be put into the hands of an eligible hero who can marry them sooner rather than later
  • Fixes a variety of other minor issues, like images not appearing for the Bard character (the redhead you sometimes see in camp)

Notable known issue (though not new to this version): There's some behavior for non-captive players where events will trigger, but then immediately un-trigger. I've yet to determine what this is, but it's annoying. Turn off side notifications in gameplay options to work around this for now.

A little question, Why did you decide to remove "TB_slavery_enslaved_by_party" event?

With that event, you could be enslaved  directly while you were get captive by a party

I think it was removed on  0.1.15.

Similarly to the behaviors around getting enslaved in a village, only more so, it created situations where the player was enslaved by problematic groups (particularly getting directly enslaved by looters). It also made it way too easy to get enslaved, so the regular captivity events never triggered.

I've learned a bit about how to better contingently phrase this, though, so I'll probably introduce a new version that only triggers when your captor is actually a hero in the future.

some events seems happen so frequently when it happens once

I'm not sure what you mean.

Events happening continuously usually means either there's an unusual set of conditions going on or there aren't many events that exist for that condition.

I'm not sure why, but with a female MC I don't get the events about the female prisoner dressed as a men, which allow me to recruit them. As a male, I get them all the time.

Is there a way to trigger that event from the console? I like it because it gives me female troops which don't count as followers but I can "adjust" their equipment.

So I think I figured out why I was getting just the same few events firing over and over. I was still on an older version CE. Once I updated to the latest version, the other events started firing more often.

Now, though, I'm constantly seeing the captive event where one of the prisoners turns out to be a woman and a new wanderer gets generated. Its the only captive event that ever fires. As wanderers, these girls are not very useful since they come with no attributes or focus points. Sometimes they might have a handful of points, but its never enough that they'll ever be very good at anything so they're not worth letting into the clan. I was keeping them as prisoners just to get better ransom money and roguery xp, but Calradia's started to become so flooded with these useless wanderers that I've had to start executing them all.

I might just be stupid but I'm not getting a lot of the new images. If I get captured by looters, it's always they're torturing and fisting me. I also don't really know how to get female prisoners. All my prisoners are men so I miss out on a lot of these events.

There's a event where if you have above 15 troops and 5 prisoners it tells you a male prisoner is actually a girl and gives you the option of recruiting her, executing her, or keeping her captive. Picking to keep her captive is how I've been getting female prisoners, besides you know, going around fighting female nobles and taking them captive.

Basically all of the hero-as-captive images were redone, so if you want to see them all:

  • get captured by someone who can enslave you or lead you to become enslaved (merchants, towns - not villages - or lords)
  • get enslaved and submit to gain slavery level (this should happen pretty fast now tbh)
  • please your master to increase relation with them
  • at 250+ slavery / 50+ relation you can sometimes marry them

You can also use the menus on male captors to see new images, though unfortunately they're all females at the moment because I haven't yet built male images for these scenarios. That should be in my next update, though it will be a while.

To get female prisoners:

  • Wander around until a thief attempts to steal from you, then chase them down successfully and you can take her prisoner
  • Wander around with 15+ troops and 5+ prisoners as tthheerroocckk noted to trigger the Scion event, which gives you the opportunity to take a female prisoner
  • Piss off one of the various factions and fight them until you find some of their female nobles (seems to be ~40% of enemy nobles are female, it's pretty frequent)

Does that event give you an actual companion if you let them join your army?  They aren't listed in the Clan window, or the Character window, so I can't figure out what skills they have if any, so I don't know what kind of gear to give them

Yes. Skills are randomized, but they do not get attributes or focus points, as I do not have a way to give them these currently.

Bumbled my way into a possible workaround.  Started collecting them as prisoners, and got an event where you can blackmail someone into serving your banner.  Triggered on one of the female prisoners and I got an actual companion with focus/attribute points and all.  They count as both a family member and a companion though, which is weird, but I needed a 9th companion anyway

Oh, interesting. CaptiveJoinCaptor turns them into actual companions? That's .. confusing.
