What would be nice is to have game developers make the game for the PC and then strip out features and dumb it down for the consoles.  Let them get stuck with the shitty ports for a change. :P

Some developers thank god still do that.  Blizzard,  id and Valve are some that come to mind.  However Crytek should have their asses kicked for consolizing Crysis 2.  I'm playing 3 now on PC and it's pretty much the same thing.

Once again you guys are being overly harsh , I myself am a PC gamer but I was very exited about the conference ( stayed up till 3 ,had to wake up at 7:30) I was fucking impressed at how good Killzone 3 looked , don't get me wrong , I have more than once clearly stated how much better story and gameplay are over graphics .

The thing is, consoles have an audience , no one can deny that , I believe Sony did the best that could be done . I am quite indifferent on the share button since I don't have that many online ( or IRL ) friends yet I see why some people would like it ,I am glad that sony acquired Gaikai since it's servers will be swarming with worthless screenshots and LP's .

Edit : As for the PS4 downloading games before I buy them , wtf , I don't want that .

The one thing I really detest is the PS4 not being backward compatible or your older PSN games not working on it.  I mean wtf Sony?  I always loved being able to play my PS1 and 2 games on any of their future systems.  I know the newer PS3's don't have the feature,  but I have a launch console that does.   I'd like to trade it in towards a PS4,  but because of not having that feature I am forced to keep it.

Well, I got a PS1, PS2, PS3(fat which is broken and a slim) and my brother a PSP and Vita. Sooo buying the PS4 is a must, Im not a fanboy but Im more of a console gamer when it comes to playing shooters, racing etc.

I dont like the fact that they put so many resources in unnessary stuff like streaming or sharing your stuff online. It's fun but...I doubt many people would actually use those functions. Same problem with the PS3 I guess once again not backwards compatible. And No Im not a fanboy I'm just a loyal customer. Yes, will buy it but not straight away. Im gonna wait a few months so the price drops and so more good games come out for it.

I'm also buying the PS4 for muh grand scheme of selling the whole Playstation collection togheter with my Brother one day.

It has to do with Sony (and a few other companies) hating the used game market. Since they don't make any money from that market. Which is why these companies wants to force you to buy new games so that they can make a profit on your expense.

I'll admit I was intrigued by what I hear about PS4 and all that they are doing with it. The networking / social aspect of it sounds great and fun to use. But it always comes back to the games and Sony is just lacking IMO in any titles that would make me want to buy the system. Say what you will about Nintendo but they still know how to make games that are system sellers and I imagine that is not going to change, which is why I will probably stick with Nintendo, even though the graphics will be sub par compared to everything else, but who cares if the games are great. I can get my graphics from my PC which will blow PS4 out of the water anyway.

Don't get me wrong I love Nintendo and games like Zelda and Metroid will hold a special place in my heart forever.  I was one of the first ones in the midnight release to pick up a Wii just for Twilight Princess.  However over the years I have grown tired of games like Zelda and Mario and Metroid being the only thing on their consoles that interest me. That's just me now.

With Playstation it's not just about the graphics imo,  but the fact that they and most third parties are constantly throwing out quality new IP's plus their PSN games are outstanding as well imo.  Sure Nintendo has that quality thing down pat with their original properties,  but sometimes they take forever to come out with anything that keeps me interested in coming back to the console for long.  Could be their marketing I don't know.  I still want a Wii U,  but haven't had a reason to by one yet.  My fingures are crossed for E3! :)

I haven't cared about Zelda in a long time, but the best games I played, outside of Link to the Past, were the Oracle games for the Game Boy... which were done by Capcom. The Prime series, done by a third party seem to be amongst the most popular, and it really seems like one of the best F-Zero games was done by, surprise, a third party. So it seems that Nintendo should let third party companies do things with their IPs...

I've owned every Sony console except the Vita so far. Unlike most of the people here, I actually bought the console BECAUSE to me it has better 1st party titles than the Xbox 360. Besides, I honestly think buying an Xbox 360 is a waste of fucking money, seeing as most of it's 'exclusives' are on PC anyways, plus paying to play online is stupid as fuck, another advantage PS3 has over the Xbox 360. Uncharted, God of War, Resistance, Little Big Planet, Killzone... so many good games on PS3 that when I see the library on the Xbox I just shrug my shoulders.

Live never went down for over a month.

You get what you pay for, I guess.

They got free games , FOR FREE !!!..

Also I'd rather live was down for a month than having to pay , It is number 3 reason why I buy games at my pc .

This is true, and also why it is painful to be a Nintendo fan sometimes. But ya like you I am not that impressed with Wii U as of now, and I will have to be really blown away to actually go out and purchase one, especially since my finances will be a little tight for a while because of a car purchase. And I hope Microsoft makes good and goes back to focusing more on PC's because they are running the Xbox into the ground with Kinect. Call Wii a babies toy all you want, but it works better than fuckin Kinect does!

Yup that's about what I spent on mine about six years ago lol  Mainly because I was just being lazy though.  I just ripped out the psu and gpu in a HP unit and replaced them.  At the time Quads really hadn't taken off yet.  Still using it though and it's had very little problems.  Just throw in a new gpu from time to time.

Don't know if any of you've seen Jimmy Fallon checking out the new Killzone.  Pretty funny! :P

The PS4 has already fialed on things I was hoping for, namely hoping that it would play my library of PS1 and PS3 games at least. Seems I'll be waiting on the PS4 and keeping my PS3.

considering the specs ps4 is better then my computer and ive put in like $1500 into mine

I'd guess that they're not as good as the current PC eight-core processors. The 360 had a triple-core CPU but was bested by dual-cores way back then because it was stripped down and/or of lesser quality. You never know though, cause AMD's processors have been pretty poor as of late, they can only improve lol.
