Understanding my error log

Recommended Posts

LastException can be anything from a small mod conflict or missing variable up to a large scale issue that might even cause a game crash. Most of the time it's some rather small problem.

Yours contains quite a lot of references to fishing and fishing locations, so if you have a mod tweaking something about that, move it out of your Mods folder, delete "localthumbcache.package" found in "Documents/Electronic Arts/The Sims4" and start the game again to see if the issue is gone.

For LEs in general (especially those that contain significantly more than one or two lines), the best way to fix the issue yourself is to move all your mods out of the Mods folder and test them by adding a few at a time back in again and starting the game - remember to delete "localthumbcache" whenever you make major changes to your Mods folder. If the issue pops up, it was caused by a mod from the last bunch you added, so it should be easy to track down. Some mods like MC Command Center, Wicked Whims or Basemental Drugs can usually be excluded from this process, as they are very well tested.

I started playing Sims 4 for the first time today and already have some mods but the game tells me there is a last exception error report that I should check out, so I wonder if anyone can tell me if there are conflicting mods. I haven't noticed anything yet, so I am not sure how serious last exception is

You should also try doing an Origin repair in case your game world somehow got corrupted.

If that doesn't fix it try removing all your mods except WW + Animations.

Add them back one at a time and test in game until you get the error again to figure out which one is causing it.
