Why don't these Mods exist?

I love the effort this community has taken, but I've always felt there's some really obvious mods that should exist already. I know a version of a "seduce" skill exists in one of the Succubus mods, but from my experience it has been quite buggy. Sex always seems to be activated as a fail-state, or when you lose. There should be more options to use it as a win, in immersive ways. There are mods that let you cast a spell on someone, and  then you start the scene, but to me that seems artificial and uninteresting. If there were some seduction option that wasn't buggy that empowered your character rather than play to get killed, I think that would be great. Maybe this mod exists, but from my extensive searching, it doesn't.

Well, there is mod called Paradise Halls. It is a big mod about slavery, but you get slaves enslaving wounded enemies. After enslavment you can do anything you want with them. Sounds quite immersive to me

What? You mean like romance and sweet talking them into bed? Amorous Adventures has got you covered. Don't forget to give the author(s) a hug.

You aren't the first person to notice the asymmetry.

Anyone who has played CoC, TiTS, etc. and the ancient games on which those are based will be familiar with the idea of seduce as an "attack".

PSQ does actually let you do this, at higher levels.

I've posted some more complex ideas on using sex to overcome enemies on my blog under the Weak Girl thread, and in the Lupine Manifesto.

I'd like to do more modding in this space, but first I need to fix some underpinnings, like arousal... Hence SLAX.

Unfortunately, I haven't had much time for modding since the new year, but things should be a little more sane for a while, so some SLAX improvements should be forthcoming soon.

that sounds awesome, i never considered bringing arousal into the mix.... maybe some sort of ability that ups the enemy's arousal. like, while youre sneaking, you can use an ability to up their arousal, which then allows the seduce to work.

I've used PSQ for the seduce option, but maybe it's just me, but it was buggy. Not saying the mod author did a bad job, maybe its just a hard feature to implement

The tricky bits are calming enemies on defeat and faction management.

Those are both problems that have proved difficult. We have several defeat mods, but all have issues with calming enemies at times.

Either enemies that arrive late to the party aren't calmed, or some stay calm when they shouldn't.

DeepBlueFrog has spent years tinkering with faction handling in SD+ and it still does odd stuff, like making your creature master neutral to almost all towns and villages, even if they're a wolf, Falmer or troll.

In the first case, you're up against Papyrus lag, and in the latter, the sheer number of factions (plus factions in mods, you know nothing about).

Dragonborn in Distress is the new iteration of defeat handling, and as I've observed, there are still scenarios where it gets caught out, mostly around race conditions where you and the sole surviving enemy hit zero health at about the same time, or where the enemy is essential, and that's not even considering its post-defeat capture handling. It's at 95%. More tweaking could get it 99% there, but there will always be times where something unforeseen happens.

DA, Defeat and DCL all have oddities. With DA it's mostly around you getting stuck in bleedout or a post defeat effect never, ever, clearing.

With Defeat it's a frequent total lack of interest in doing something other than vanilla death and reload, and with DCL it's a trigger-happy tendency to make you surrender to almost anything for no reason. The latest DCL may have improved this a bit, but it was a feature that remained unmodified for many DCL versions up until recently when it suddenly started changing a lot each release. I don't think DCL is good at handling enemies that arrive late, or followers that arrive late though.

I considered making my own stab at this - as a priority - in the Lupine Manifesto, but for now I'll see how DiD goes and focus on other things.
