Stripper Career for Sims 3

I started working on a Full-Time Stripper Career, and came to the realization that coding isn't my thing. I created the below before i hit the wall:

 

• Level Titles
• Pay Scale
• Work Hours
• Some alternate phrases for Hanging with Fellow Workers (Slut BBQ) or Meeting Fellow Workers (Zoned)
• Stopped 1/3 of the way on the <KEY> Lines of coding

 

Anyway, I am looking for this profession if anyone has created it for their own games. If no one has created it, but is willing to take over the work I started, I'm up for that as well. Crossing my fingers for some hits

Kinky World ver399 (while buggy) introduced: "+Now that the pole dancers can dance correctly, they can earn money"

 

While not in depth, it seems it would allow a player to set up a stripper pole where ever they want, and 'poledance' for tips. No clue what the income would be like but you were looking for options, and this is the only thing close I know of.

 

Perhaps the Patreon Versions (up to 406 or 407 now I hear) have cleaned up some of the bugs, but I couldn't say....

If this gets finished this would be amazing!! I've been wanting a stripper career forever. Before I even found this website. A rabbithole one would be a great start. I'd love for there to be a playable one someday too but everyone seems to focus on Sims 4 instead of Sims 3 these days. Which is too bad cause in my opinion Sims 3 is superior. Thanks for starting rorjr.

There is a mod for 2 rabbithole careers at the criminal warehouse - Porn Star and Prostitute. Like any rabbithole job there are skill requirements to advance, titles for each level, and for the Porn Star - a career split between actor and tycoon. I know the Porn Star also gets a nice car reward and the tycoon gets access to a limo.

 

Rabbithole careers are a fun way to roleplay, without too much worry. I can't say much more for a stripper career that I didn't cover above.

Most know about playing for tips as a musician while in the Latenight EP subways can be lucrative to the point of feeling like one broke the game....   I doubt pole stripping could ever reach this level of notoriety.

 

Only whores employed by a brothel will autonomously dance on a KW stripper pole. If a pole was set up at a normal gathering place for Sims, the active Sim would be the only one 'using' it, so there is still some roleplay value.

The KW open stripper career earn a very little amount of money.

 

There's no reason to be a stripper in KW, unlike in the real world.

Yea! I have that pack. I really like them, I use them in my game a lot. I think my dream actually would be (as opposed to a rabbithole or even playable stripper career) would be one set up like musicians or mixologists where random NPC's will spawn to work on that pole. And then using NRaas Register you could assign selected sims to work doing that. Maybe I'll comment this on the request a mod section.

I have the Porn Star & Prostitute careers, but I don't use Kinky World (I'm too lazy to reconfigure my game to incorporate it) so no access to a Stripper career. The Sexy Sims 2 Stripper Career is for Sims 2, while I am looking for Sims 3.

 

Like I said, I got 1/3 of the way through the coding to set this up, but coding isn't my thing and I walked away from it. Perhaps if I get more serious about this career, I'll pick it back up again (along with an Office Worker, Human resources, Museum Worker, Comic Book Artist/Writer & Barista professions).

Can't remember if it was MTS, but there IS a mod frame out there so you can create your own rabbit hole careers. I remember that you do need Nraas Careers for what you make to work.
