Guest Posted April 7, 2020 Posted April 7, 2020 Greetings to all, i suddenly started my Skyrim adventure again after a not long time break. Resently i found a problem with my textures, both male and female have some sortof seam lines on particular body parts. I use CBBE body and textures for female and SOS for male. I can not say that ive seen this defect at my last play in winter but still this looks annoing. Really would like a tip or help for this solution! I play on a low spec notebook, and my setings are on low Spoiler Spoiler Spoiler Spoiler
DesertDancer Posted April 7, 2020 Posted April 7, 2020 I sort of have this problem as well, more noticeable on males and darker skin and I am also wondering how I can fix the seam problem. For females, I used the Demoniac Fair Mature Texture and that helped the neck seam issue.

Dorabella Posted April 7, 2020 Posted April 7, 2020 In Skyrim data folder> textures>actors>character > female In Skyrim data folder> textures>actors>character > male Check out the femalebody_1and malebody_1 DDS To be able to open them Image Viewer Paint.NET Or photographic programs enabled to open DDs (Photoshop, Gimp) Once opened, you can check if it is a textures error . If so, either you are good at fixing them or they will have to be replaced .

Fotogen Posted April 7, 2020 Posted April 7, 2020 I had this problem for females. Reason: I was using low rez LE textures(designed for LE CBBE) in a Skyrim SE with new CBBE body. Solution: I upgraded textures to something more modern. Bijin-something. Male: when I switched to SE, I installed male related stuff that was already designed for SE, or was atleast properly converted to SE. Body mesh and textures would fit. Make a backup, then test some other textures.

I even tried other types of textures and my verdict is that this is my low specs causing this negaive stuff and (or) maybe light problems. I may assure that when i switch to higher graphic settings this problem has less eye catching on it and seems that it mostly appears near light objects or sunny days.Still can't remember or confirm that i had this type of problems at my last playtrough
Guest Posted April 9, 2020 Posted April 9, 2020 Will be glad to hear more tips or salutions from anybody

Obviously because of the play of light / shadow. 1) You could try installing 4K textures. 2) From the icon of The Elder Scroll V (Skyrim_Launcher>Option) you could try other graphic resolutions ( although usually, it is set automatically in proportion to the PC performance) If it can help, I use these settings Spoiler
