snake leather

Is something I’ve been looking too, along other materials, but because the texture for my shoes is too small making something that looks anything but blurred is a challenge. I’ll keep researching.

my biggest is to see you create shoes with snake leather, things inspired by scandalous brands

While experimenting with different color/texture options in CAS, I've come up with many great looking designs for the JoshQ shoes. Just experiment, and you can create some pretty amazing effects. Some of the floral designs as well as geometric have multiple pattern sizes, so just choose them and see how the shoe takes it, then mess with the colors - sometimes making most of the pattern the same color to help define the patterns.....

One of my favorites is a cloth pattern which looks 'metallic' when applied.

Probably is my game but patterns sometimes look blurry so I don’t use them as much besides the pictures in my uploads (so people can see if the UV map is a mess or not). A proper texture with a normalmap could look a lot better but creating custom materials on Blender, for now, is black magic for me (along several other subjects like bone painting).

Thought I'd throw a few examples out here: Decided to use previous screenshots instead of going into CAS and suddenly be 'creative'.

I think your shoes look great regardless of the issues you mention.
