TEZMICK Posted April 4, 2025 Posted April 4, 2025 Using the CS3 reset version mod guessing I goofed somewhere @lakovic
lakovic Posted April 4, 2025 Posted April 4, 2025 Is this the case for all characters, or just Juna? Is this the case for all Juna's costumes? Or just this one?
GDKing Posted April 4, 2025 Posted April 4, 2025 (edited) When I saw "CS3 reset version mod" I was like "WHERE?", then I went to Lakovic's store site. @lakovic Any plans releasing a free trial version, or will this only be available in your store? Edited April 4, 2025 by GDKing
lakovic Posted April 4, 2025 Posted April 4, 2025 In fact, there is very little MOD content for CS3, and I haven't created any new outfits for it. This is a very early version, and it is priced at only $5 in my store. I personally don't think it's worth purchasing because, for the most part, I simply used the new body models from CS4 and CS5, and that's about it.

Oh okay, so you ported the models from your CS4 and CS5 reset models for this one. I can see why it might not be worth purchasing, since I struggled to find a way to replay CS3. Later on, I gradually added a lot of new outfits in CS4 and CS5. If you really need CS3 support, I can port the outfits from CS4 and CS5 over to it. 1

lakovic Posted April 5, 2025 Posted April 5, 2025 Thank you for your support. I'll pick a time to port some outfits to CS3. If I do, I'll upload the files to the same website for download. 3
lakovic Posted May 9, 2025 Posted May 9, 2025 (edited) To all players who purchased my CS3 version mod: I recently discovered an issue where the mod does not display correctly in the NIS version of CS3. This problem occurred because I didn’t have the NIS version of the game initially, so I only became aware of it recently. Solution for incorrect model display in the NIS version of CS3: Since the CLE (Clouded Leopard) version of CS3 was released first, and the NIS version came later, I created the mod based on the CLE version. As a result, the model .pkg files were placed in the data\asset\D3D11 folder. However, the NIS version includes an additional folder: data\asset\D3D11_us. So to fix the issue, simply copy all 67 .pkg files from the D3D11 folder into the D3D11_us folder. This will ensure that all model files display correctly in the NIS version. Can you give a more detailed description of what this does exactly? I purchased your Kai mod and while i get that this might not be as extensive, I'm curious whats there.

lakovic Posted July 9, 2025 Posted July 9, 2025 This might be caused by different versions of CS3, and it's possible that the pkg files are in the wrong location. Please check under your data\asset\ directory to see if there are multiple d3d11 folders, such as d3d11_us or d3d11_XX. Try moving the pkg files from the d3d11 folder into d3d11_us or d3d11_XX, and that should likely resolve the issue.

I have the latest NIS version with all DLCs. I also noticed that when i go into the menu in the costumes tab the model appears fine. Naked with no additional overlayed pictures but in the actual game the other textures still show.

neverhaveinow Posted September 17, 2025 Posted September 17, 2025 Sorry for spamming with questions, I used the github link ed8injector to transfer a lot of the costumes to CS4, and for the most part it works great, but it seems like any objects the altered NPCs hold are invisible (weapons,ARCUS, fishing rods) Is there any kind of fix for that?

Elegant_Dresses_CS3.7z 186.78 MB · 481 downloads I’ve already solved the issue by reading your previous instructions. Thanks again. The reason was that two lines in asset_D3D11.xml needed to be modified: <asset symbol="C_CHR003_C130"> <cluster path="data/D3D11/dlc/chr/chr/chr003/chr003_c02.dae.phyre" type="p_collada"/> I fixed it by using aa_inject_model.py to modify the pkg file and by moving the inf file into the data\chr\chr folder. (It would be even better if someone made a Bathing Clothes DLC for all 12 characters.) Below is the original post: -------------------------------------------------------------- Sorry to bother you. May I ask how to install the Old Class VII Bathing Clothes as a DLC in the game? I renamed chr003_c02.inf and C_CHR003_C02.pkg to chr003_c130.inf and C_CHR003_C130.pkg, and replaced the files in your Elegant_Dresses_CS3.7z. However, when I select the outfit in the game, it gives an error. Although replacing the model works, I would prefer to install the Bathing Clothes as a new outfit slot (like a DLC).
