Hi all,

I'm having a problem getting my hair to work with collisions. Head Collision, Body Collision, Virtual Ground.

The physics in the hair work but can't get it to collide with my male body. I think its a problem with my .xml script or maybe something wrong in NifSkope?

I'm very new to making mods and this is my first one i've made. just wanted to get a certain hairstyle with physics in the game. plz help! :)

Some reason for double posting?  I know you're new here, but you could take a few seconds to see if someone responds before spamming us.

Is this for HDTSMP SE? If so then I had a similar issue and it turned out that the headparts in the esp had to be named the same as the corresponding shapes in the nif files for collisions to work. If it's for HDT PE (LE skyrim) then I've no idea.

If you open the plugin in the CK and look at Character/Headparts in the object window you will find the Editor ID of your item. This Editor ID must match the name of the shape in the nif file. For example Headpart (Editor ID "SMPHair_Bluurb") in the plugin must match BSDynamicTriShape "SMPHair_Bluurb" in the nif file.

If you have SSEEdit it is quicker and easier to find the plugin editor id.

If the headpart names match the corresponding shapes and collisions still don't work then it's probably an issue with the xml config.

PS. for future reference you should have posted this in the skyrim SE technical support section.
