would anyone do this community a favor and revive this dead mod PLEASE?

it's been under the rock since 2014 :P

I have a problem, after giving birth... the cub has a human child voice which is very weird and annoying??!!

ok so light me up, where do I start?

I'm average at modeling 3d characters but I'm not a goddess like at programming or scripting, would you point me to the software I must use to fix it (or to try at least)

Well, start with Google and see where it takes you.

 

At minimum you will need xEdit.

From there, you will need to look at the races in the mod and see what it is producing.  If there are none, then you will need to look into the scripts to see what/how they are being made.

 

If they are in the race records, look at the voices for them.  Compare to normal records for that race and see what voice type it should have.

i'm still alive ;)

 

But i don't have much time to work on this stuff anymore... :(

 

The voices are like that because of the custom races. I just wasn't able to get anything else to work back then. 

 

I think someone a bit more experienced with the CK could get the creature voices to work easily...

 

btw: If anyone is interested in continuing this mod, feel free. :)

In the beginning I actually wanted them to make creature sounds when talked to, but i couldn't figure out how to enable the voice types with the new actors / races. When it didn't work I tried the (Bf?) child voices, which worked, and i thought it was better than nothing. I think it has something to do with them being a custom race. 

 

If you want them to be just silent, maybe try changing the voicetype of their race to something different / incompatible like MaleNord for example.

 

I think you could probably even somehow do that in in TES5Edit (see below), but i think using creation kit is actually more comfortable / easier for that.

Maybe other more experienced modders could get it to work with the creature voices and i'm pretty sure its possible somehow.

Either clone the voicetypes and enable them for the custom BFACCA races, or make the custom races somehow use the vanilla voices... but i don't have the time anymore to work on this stuff

 

btw. there is also something different with the dogs for example. They bark everytime you activate them /talk to them. Not sure why, but if that was possible to do with the other creatures as well.. it could be a solution.

I replied to gullu, that we need modders help :) 

for me I do modelling and I will post future mods of characters and some rigging animations

but about modding/editing mods I don't understand that much, but I will try to do so...

honestly I haven't tried the CK yet, don't laugh at me -_-

I got from gullu that we just need to register the creatures custom races into BF so that they will have the same voices as grown creatures, I don't think it's hard maybe because I haven't tried yet XD
