Are you sure about this?  Because that mod was rolled up into this one which doesn't break any skeleton https://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/24830

And I don't see any skeleton files in the mod you linked

Yes. I turned this mod on, breasts/butts became anchored in the air; I turned this mod off, everything works perfectly.

I didn't realize it was already a part of LMCC. I also have that, so maybe it was having both that did it.

Is this still relevant or anything might've gotten updated?

It's constantly kept up to date, all the requirements work great, if the guide is followed exactly.  :)

The only thing I can think of then is load order because it's possible the original mod changes the character record and if that is loaded after other mods it's probably screwing things up.  LMCC itself is very finicky with load order and conflicts with other tattoo mods etc.  But at least you've got it worked out :)

You will need to carefully install one of the 2 body mods listed on page 1 in the requirements, along with the exact version of Looksmenu listed as well.

What about Four-Play Animation by Crazy Rug version? It's not mentioned, and the description of the mod page also doesn't provide info what the difference from the Gun version.

Plus, SavageCabbages Animation is updated to 1.3.0. Should I still stick with 1.2.8?

For Crazy's, use the gun version. Doesn't really matter, as you won't be using the gun any ways. It is just to load the animations.

The version numbers are in the OP for a reason. Stick with the version number that the OP tells you to use.

Reason for this is, UAP is not updated to support the newer versions of these animation mods. So if you try to use those updated versions, and then patch it with UAP, AAF will get stuck trying to load and not work. You need to use the correct version for UAP to patch in order for it to work properly.

You can use the updated version if you really want to, but then don't overwrite it with UAP. You'll get the newer animations, but you'll be using the xml's from the animation mod, and not the patched ones from UAP.

Great explanation! So, it doesn't matter even if I use both of the Rug version and Gun version?

It's very clear for the version numbers and UAP. Thanks!

Yay! I'm glad this fundamental knowledge is finally starting to click with people. Please stick around and repeat this any time a newcomer says "stuck at 68%, AAF broken, grunt grunt." :face_pig:

There's no benefit to using both, so only get one. I just suggest the gun version is all (it's the version I always use, and never had an issue with it). You just need it for loading the animations into the game (you're not actually going to be using the gun or rug from Crazy's animations, you just need it to register the animations). UAP will patch it regardless to make it function with UAP's features.

Awesome! Thx for clarify.

A Rare Change log Appears:

An old patch was added to the skip list.

The majority of these old patches will pretty much guarantee your AAF stops loading at x% (Generally 68%).

Good luck and happy pixel fucking.

I dont know what i did wrong. I followed this and yet when a mod i installed tries to force an animation everyone just stands there :( sad

That means AAF didn't actually start in your game.  Test if AAF can work in your setup by starting a new game and if you don't get the AAF Welcome pop up right after exiting the character creation sequence, that usually means that the Fallout4Custom.ini file edit is missing which is documented in the guide.   Other factors: Not having plugins sorted or not starting the game with F4SE.  If it's more than that, you should join the AAF discord for troubleshooting.  The invite link is in the guide.

f4$e never works. It's a fucking garbage app.

F4SE works extremely well, it just needs to be properly configured depending on which mod manager you are using and run as a tool from said mod manager as well as having the correct custom ini file edit completed before starting a new game.  If you want help, you should probably start over and explain what exactly your issue is because comments like this will not get you very far.

There's two versions of ZaZ Skeleton - v5 which is listed in the guide, and v6, which is what is linked in Fusion Girl. Not sure which is actually required.

I'm currently getting boob/butt stretching when using TWB and now FG, It seems like a skeleton issue, but I really cannot narrow it down today. I built all the armor sets in Bodyslide, but it seems like Nora won't stop being all stretchy at the start of the game - giving the bug away.

Triple check that nothing is overwriting your skeleton. Reinstall it fresh and then make sure nothing overwrites it. I'm using ZaZ v6 with the current FG with no problems.

I seem to recall that there used to be xml files for Vs Stylish Decor so that AAF would see it for animations that used similar vanilla furniture. Is there a current version of that patch around incorporated into another pack/patch? I have Vs furniture that I know I used to be able to play animations on but can't anymore.

I have a problem with this whole guide...

How come my female character have such a strange...bugged face (two tones)? It annoys me to no end...and I searched which mod in this guide could be the cause, to no avail...does anyone have any idea as to how to arrange it?

That's nothing to do with this guide. That's a skin texture issue. Specifically, face textures.

Are you trying to use 2k face textures? And if so, are you making sure you are using 2k everything else for the face as well? If not, that happens.

Are you using 1k face textures? If so, make sure no other face mods you use are 2k (or higher). If so, that happens.

Face stuff has to all match the same texture size. So if you use 1k face textures, you need 1k makeup, 1k eyebrows, etc etc. Vanilla has all this, so it isn't really an issue. But if you decide to use 2k face textures, then you need to make sure everything is 2k as well. That includes, makeup, eyebrows, freckles/moles, blemishes, facial tattoos, etc etc. Literally everything that deals with the face has to match the same size as your face textures. Otherwise, you get the brown face bug.

Not all the time can be fixed. In random times after loading ur save it still appears the issue.

HIpoly face redux mod has a scripted 'auto' refreshing face so that is instant fix for brown face upon loading.

True, and I use HiPoly Faces Redux, so I guess that is why I never noticed this issue in my game lol.

But their screenshot is from the very beginning of the game (after starting a new game), so it is more than likely a texture issue if it is happening before they even start a fresh game.
