How to change outfit slot?

 I want to wear this top with pants from other mod but every time I equip pants the op get unequip. I hear it have something to do with the outfit slot. Anyone know how to change it so I can equip the top with other piece?

What is the pants mod?

You can change with Fo4Edit. Open up the plugin of the outfit you want to change the slot for then in Armor and Armor Addon you just have to change to the slot you wish.

Right click in front of the line : First Person Flags then go to Edit. Do the same in the Armor node for that outfit.

Would have to change to nif for it as well, wouldn't you?

oh? i didnt know its was that different for skyrim, but yeah, we dont need to do that for fallout 4.
