Removed this mod and the replacer, no CTD.

There are dead clothed npcs and 2 living inside the keep along with armor on their corpses.

Batched build in OS selecting 3BA when available, otherwise 3BF for each of the replacer outfits for my custom 3BA body.

Ran LOOT, FNIS etc as usual with no errors.

I can console additem armors and wear them with  no problems.

All 4 of the BD's 3BBB... where downloaded today.

 

Would the replacer being a esl cause this?

 

Edit: removed the esl flag from the .esp and still CTD.  Tried using the other UUNP .esp replacer, still CTD.   I found in BD 3BF Iron Armor the neck part of that armor is way off the body.  Fixed it in OS..still CTD.

This mod is cell has never modified, so specific cell CTD cannot be occur.

Therefore, it is necessary to know which NPCs there occurred CTD.

 

So check if there is an NPC that is added or modified in that cell by mod.

I ran some more tests.  with DCL removed, I can enter helgen keep, no CTD.  With DCL added i get CTD.  So DCL is adding npc's to helgen keep.

After looking at DCL in SSEEdit I see the following:

Imperial Armor

Imperial Officer Armor

 

If I player.help Imperial 0 I see 2 sets of Imperial armor

401A5734 Imperial Armor

136D5 Imperial Armor

 

using additem for both, only 136D5 shows up in my inventory and is the BD imperial armor.

401a5734 says it is added but does not show up in inventory.

 

Also bodyslide gives the options for

Prisoner rag or Prisoner rag short  which does not replace any Vanilla

Prisoner Bikini or Prisoner Clothes will replace CBBE Vanilla Body Prisoner

There are several other BD 3BF armors that don't replace any Vanilla armor.  You can see this by Batch building the Vanilla armor along with BD's to see what is replaced in the choices.

As I said in the first post i get a CTD when trying to enter Helgen keep.  If i remove these 2 mods then I don't get any CTD so I know it's the replacer causing it.

And i know vanilla armor DCL adds to that cell is the problem.

I have it installed in my system and I have passed Helgen several of times now.

You have some other issue.

 

Perhaps read up on modders pages and do you modding correct, there is nothing in this or the armor mod you link to that should crash your game in Helgen.

I'm not a rookie, i've been using mods in skyrim and fo4 for years, I know what I'm doing.  I also googled every Helgen keep CTD in existance.

I encountered this CTD with a 380 mod profile.  I reduced that now down to 60 mods to find what caused the CTD.

If i only remove this armor replacer I don't CTD.  Yet your saying it's not the replacer fault...

If i only remove DCL, i don't CTD because the vanilla armor is no longer being put into the Helgen keep cell by DCL.

 

Looking at "BD Armor and clothes replacer.esp" in SSEEdit I don't see any entries for several armors, just their helm and boots.  How does say the chest piece "Imperial Armor" get replaced?  Is it a simple Armor or Armor Addon overrite or does each armor need a Form ID List entry?  I see neither  in this esp for "Imperial Armor".

I suspect it's rare to be using DD and DCL with 3BBB Advanced given no public conversion done, so no one else has come across this yet.

I have DD, 3BBB A and this replacer installed, never had any issues so it could be something incompatible between DCL and this replacer.

Gonna try with DCL and check.

 

Edit: If you're playing using a controller you need to grab the script fix for DD in the support thread otherwise CTD.

You dont think it can be one of the mods you have removed that creates your issue?

You perhaps mixes skeletons?

 

How do you install your mods?

After installing DCL i got CTD in helgen keep down in the prison past Chloe...gonna look at DCL's files because i don't think it's caused by this mod here otherwise it would happen in other locations too.

 

Edit: removing DCL does indeed remove the CTD issue so it's got to do with DCL's files.

Best take this issue to the DCL support thread, not only do i CTD when i go past Chloe and in the torture area but also if after opening Chloe's prison cell if i step in i also CTD.

 

Edit: Someone else reported the same issue in the DCL support thread.

 

Proof enough that BD's armor replacer has nothing to do with that.

What they reported was either black face or a SMP issue.  When I installed DCL 8.4Rev1 I encountered black face Chloe but it didn't crash me.  In my experience some black face crash, some don't. Exported the face gen with CK and fixed it.

Just installed DCL 8.4Rev4, letting Rev4 overwrite the facegen files I exported(to use theirs) and still CTD at all 3 entrances to Helgen keep.  The DLC thread issue is inside Helgen keep, mine is I can't get in.

Post your issue there not here so Pfiffy can see it. Try the facegen files posted by Zarantha on the DCL thread, post #1578.

The CTD was caused by not having Imperial Texture Fix from BD's Armor and Clothing Replacer Complete Collection UUNP

which BD's 3BBB armor and clothes replacer  says under the requirements is no longer needed.

BD GND Temporary fix.7z

 

Someone else found out that some of the GND mesh had problems.

And created a fix file that replaced the GND mesh in question with vanilla GND mesh.

 

It's a bug had in LE version also I found it in SE UUNP version.

 

List of GND equipment in problem:

     Dragonscale - Boots, Gauntlets

     Elven - Boots

     Falmer - Boots, Gauntlets

     Nordplate - Boots

     Wolf - Boots, Gloves

 

So, this may be the reason why DCL CTD issue is being

 

If I have time later, I can make a GND mesh of the equipment.

Try removing the patch and doing the same thing Onen did to fix his ctd (post 42), i'm the one who helped him deal with that, the gnd mesh fix wasn't necessary in his case.

did you try the texture fix ? i wasn't saying to try the gnd mesh fix so i don't think you understood my message ?
