cant get loverslab mod working

i followed all of the instructions and i feel like ive put everything in the right place but when i load into game im basically hovering and everything is standing still also it doesnt show the mod management section in the settings

NPCs standing still: I'd say you didn't run or install FNIS correctly.

 

If you can't access the mod management (do you mean MCM?) you didn't install SkyUI or you did something wrong in that regard. Hard to say without knowing your mod manager/mod list.

 

Shameless self promotion, in my signature there is a guide to mod SE, its focused in Mod Organizer, but it also covers the basic use of other tools and has links to all the required mods you'll need for Sexlab. If you're just starting I'd recommend you to at least check it out.

Can you give a load order? If you are dealing with only a specific mod perhaps it would be better to post this question on that mod's support thread.

how do i get a load order ? is it like a logcat?

Are you using MO2? If so, just go to "profiles", in MO2 folder, inside that folder you should see another folder with your profile name, click it and inside. loadorder.txt or plugins.txt should contains your load order.

That part only applies if you used FNIS for the first time and press Cancel when it ask you about creating a FNIS shortcut. If FNIS is not asking you about creating a shortcut, you can ignore that part. Just make sure all the other files from FNIS are being created (FNIS creates a "meshes", "scripts" and "tools" folder.

What do i do with those folders because i thought you needed te link thing to move and make a mod with that

The Dontaskforlink.txt is just to avoid FNIS asking you to create a shortcut each time you run it.

 

If you have all the other FNIS files in the Overwrite just right click in Overwrite and select "Create Mod...", give it a name and enable it. It should be placed at the bottom of your left panel.

Yeah, I know. SOSRaceMenu.esp is an empty plugin, you won't be able to change its form43, ever. Other LL mods may break if you just re-save them to change to form44 and might require additional steps to port it without breaking. I'd recommend you to delete that check and leave the porting to people who knows the mods in question.

Did you re-locate your Skyrim SE install without running the Skyrim Launcher from Steam at least once?

 

What did you change to get these errors? I thought your setup was generating the files without errors.

im using steam emu idk whats wrong with it so im gonna probably get steam version then retry  my main problem was this i think   The system cannot find the path specified: "Data/SLAnims/json" idk how to fix that

That's from SL Animation Loader, you're missing a requirement or your install is wrong.

 

I have no idea what is Steam emu, but if your Skyrim is not a legal copy you can stop asking for help here.

Agree about that.

But Steam emulater is one program that allows you to run Steam game and not have Steam running.  It was made for AOE II and lan games. Now supporting other games.

 

And yea Fnis will not work properly until you have run Skyrim from inside Steam 1 time.

Hey so I am running all my mods on Vortex for Skyrim SE. I got almost all my mods working except for a few. The one that really bothers me that I can't figure out is the sex animations not working right. In the animation all the sounds will be made the character can progress throw the stages of the "act" but it doesn't show the animation; all you see after all that is the umm left over evidence. I tried to follow the stuff I found and it looks like its right based on how its lined up.

 

PS If you guys are willing to help and want a mod load out just let me know how cuz I am tech challenged which is why I am using vortex.

9 times out of ten your problem is the lack of a proper skeleton. Assuming that you are NOT using a custom race or character your skeleton should be XPMS(S)SE, found both here and on Nexus. The version you want from here is the last file listed when you hit the Download button.

The skeleton I was using is [ XP 32 maximum skeleton SE ] on nexus. I got the one that is up-to-date on this model. Most of the mods I have required it. I am using Racemenu, but no custom races.
