Blade_Namf1 Posted January 11, 2020 Posted January 11, 2020 I installed several mods from LL and then ran the LOOT and Fo4 edit to ensure there werent any errors. However after I went back into my game, Ive noticed something very strange. Im in the UK so use UK settings and the @ key is what is used for the console. When I use this key, the screen still freezes as if the console has come up, but theres nothing, no prompt to type the text and no background screen. A mouse cursor pops and like i said the background freezes as it would normally but nothing else. I cant type anything and even if I do, nothing comes up or works. Ive tried other keys and none of them work for console, however this particular key does what i said but i cant "use" it if that makes sense.... Its only been like this since I installed LL Mods. Trouble is i installed a fair few so dont know which ones could be causing the issue. Does anyone know what mods can cause this before I start going through each and every one? Ive attached two screen shots. The first is normal, the second is after i have pressed the console key, screen freezes as do sounds and mouse cursor pops up (thats near the HP at the moment) but no typing prompt. Any help would be appreciated!! I need my console for tcl and a few other things!
Indarello Posted January 11, 2020 Posted January 11, 2020 It is better to disable mods partialy, like 50% of whole mods, it is faster, but before this you can try purge mods (if vortex mod manager), this will disable whole mods and test, maybe not mods causing this
mashup47 Posted January 11, 2020 Posted January 11, 2020 Strange on my keyboard "corsair" I have going right to left from enter key # which has the ~ key.. and yes this is a UK keyboard which I bought when I was in the UK two year's ago..

Not partially work...lol Might be worth a try, as yes I use vortex
Blade_Namf1 Posted January 13, 2020 Author Posted January 13, 2020 RESOLVED!! It was the Sex Lab Framework that was causing the issues. Had to go through each and every mod installed recently and it was this that was causing the issue. As soon as I disabled this, I was able to access the console. Hope this helps others.

I have one for skyrm and download one which i thought was for Fallout 4. It showed as Fallout 4 in vortex as well so naturally i thought one had been done for FO4. But judging by your comment....im guessing not? ?

The MOD Config menu seems to work intermittantly so I dont know whats causing it. I disabled sexlab framework and managed to get my console back. however I cant get any of the "fun" mods downloaded of here to really work. even though I have installed the required stuff
