Darkening Demise Posted December 3, 2019 Posted December 3, 2019 Well I'm not surprised but its happening after all....yay.. https://www.google.com/search?source=hp&ei=YuXmXce6Ec6MtgW-763ACQ&q=re3+remake&oq=re3+remake&gs_l=psy-ab.3..0i131l2j0i3j0i131j0i3j0i131j0i3j0i131j0i3l2.72.1224..1295...0.0..0.220.916.6j2j1......0....1..gws-wiz.......0j0i131i10.XZcYOdsqMuk&ved=0ahUKEwjH8_uMx5rmAhVOhq0KHb53C5gQ4dUDCAc&uact=5 In all honesty I hated RE2 Shitmake. So I have zero expectations and hope for this let alone any future RE games
FauxFurry Posted December 4, 2019 Posted December 4, 2019 I can only hope that they'll leave the ammo crafting and dodge intact rather than removing them to boost difficulty. If they keep the Critical Shot feature from the REmake2, they can just increase B.O.W. durability to standard shots and/or enhanced mobility to compensate for the increased ammo and the ability to avoid their attacks.
ToJKa Posted December 4, 2019 Posted December 4, 2019 Ah, excellent, the rumors have been confirmed. I hope Code Veronica is next. That was the best of the classic style REs
Zor2k13 Posted December 5, 2019 Posted December 5, 2019 Every time they remake one of the RE games I end up not liking them. I think they days of fixed camera angles and button mashing are long gone. We need something that plays more like fallout 4 in some ways like for camera angles and inventory management and crafting. Oh and we need more than one tiny little box of ammo for the guns seriously.

Oh and we need more than one tiny little box of ammo for the guns seriously. There are no fixed angles in Resident Evil 2 remake. As for crafting, Resident Evil 3 introduced crafting and weapon upgrades into the series (beyond the mixing of herbs)as well as evasion (which makes sense for someone who is supposedly a highly trained combatant) so a fully 3-D remake of RE3 just might end up more like Fallout 4's survival mode than one might have initially expected. Button mashing was never a key part of the games. If anything, that was a great way to run out of scarce resources (including health) so there isn't any need to worry about that with any RE game.
Zor2k13 Posted December 5, 2019 Posted December 5, 2019 Button mashing was the bane of RE 5 and 6 it was terrible.
sora3 Posted December 11, 2019 Posted December 11, 2019 I'm pretty sure that the body mods will be much quicker this time round seeing the same engine. But I am stoked for RE3 getting a Remake as well. Capcom is certainly on a roll.
deathbywesker Posted December 12, 2019 Posted December 12, 2019 I'm just drawn to Nemesis's nose, I can't look away from it.

If I recall, after completing it you could get the infinite ammo bandanna. I enjoyed rushing the game after getting it. Kinda like what I did with Dino Crisis. (released along the same time) Bandana? You sure you're not mixing it up with Metal Gear Solid? In RE3 you got infinite ammo by playing the Mercenaries mini game to gather enough cash to buy either infinite M4, Gatling, R.Launcher or a briefcase that gave you infinite ammo for all other guns.

Darkening Demise Posted December 18, 2019 Author Posted December 18, 2019 More like why is Peanut Butter Gaming playing Carlos. At least the classic outfit makes him look more like his old self. We were horrified with Operation Raccoon City Carlos, but now we got this. Will wait for deep deep sale. No interest in another butchering to appeal towards casuals. RE2 Shitmake lost so much content for casuals to play it and because of the graphics and engine limitations. They were barely able to get the gator in there. Enough said.
LukeDuke Posted December 18, 2019 Posted December 18, 2019 Yay, I loved RE2R and DMC5, can't wait for this one too! I also like new Jill look, Carlos too, Nemesis not so much xD
