Very funny......... :)

 

I actually saw this a short while after it was released and seeing the BBB in the name got all excited only to figure out that someone wasted time havoking bread....

 

Wow.....just wow.....they must have really been bored to come up with that one!!!

I really don't understand it. The actual mod spoils the joke right in the title, and so it isn't as if people are downloading it under false pretenses. So it's not run-of-the-mill trolling. If it's a parody, there's no real substance to it.

 

Then again, if Oblivion has taught me anything, half of all people don't like jokes and half of those really despise them.

 

Some of the guy's other mods are a little out-of-the-ordinary, too. I get the feeling that the creator thought it was funny, and uploaded it for a cheap laugh, and the scintillating Nexus community is just using it as a place to get together and be smug. No real harm done.

I wonder if it was intentional from the author. I mean he gave all the uptight, puritanical assholes on that site a banner, behind which they can line up and spew their snide remarks on other mods, modders and mod users (apparently, anyone who uses BBB is a pervert, according to one of the d-bag commenters, I was amazed that one of the moderators had enough sense to clean out the most insulting crap from that thread) without getting banned for trolling.

 

One of the retards wrote: 'Finally a mod that is not porn'. Hey, how stupid is that, there are about three or four files on the whole nexus that qualify as porn, like Estrus, Animated Prostitution... I'd say sometimes I wish I had a few condoms and a time machine.

 

How effing idiotic is that Robert's V5 body is ranked second with only 50+ votes, a mod, which obviously required many hours to complete, compared to 120+ votes for a piece of shit that was knocked together in about half an hour.

This was one of the things that pissed me off Kinkie. You see, you can't overlook the fact that since all of the BBB haters are jumping on this that means someone who spent hours, days, and possibly weeks working on their mod is going to get screwed out of their rightful place as a file of the month thanks to this...tripe.

 

How do you think Robert2 feels coming in second to a gag mod?

Do Lucha and Laughing Vampire think its a joke?

Does anyone believe that Kani Hime is laughing?

Think Keisun83 finds any of this amusing?

 

And I imagine that Justice123 is fully pissed. Thanks to this waste of space, his mod got knocked of the FOTM list. Now while I know it wouldn't make me stop modding (I make CM Partner mods), I am about 90% sure that I would stop posting my mods to the Nexus and upload them somewhere else. Now I get that all modders mod for themselves first, but my point is always give reconition to the truly skilled when they create something that is truly exceptional.

 

My point is that when BBB - Bettr Bouncing Breadloaves becomes FOTM for October, the Nexus will spit in the face of all real moders on their site.

Hm... This really was just intended to be a chuckle or two. I don't feel particularly upset that the mod is becoming the file of the month, though I don't think it really deserves it; it's a fun jab at those of us who enjoy these things, but it lacks real content.

 

Am sorry to hear that people on both sides take this as more than a joke, and hope the real modders aren't too discouraged.

A joke mod would be fine if there was a separate poll for them. The sad thing is, you don't even have to download this joke mod to realize what it is about. So as it stands, this mod will be the FOTM and you do not even have to download it to know everything about it.

 

It's a good thing that people are creative and make fun stuff. The irony of the situation is: peeps on Nexus were crying a river because there were too few mods designed for male characters. Now, finally, there is a good male mod (Robert's v5 male body), obviously many hours of work have been invested into it, and it's lagging behind a mere trifle.

:( There is a lot of new things up at nexus this October. I myself have released several new race mods, a strange animated sword mod among other things, all worth a look if not just for the textures alone. FLY released more new armor replacers, and there is a lot more worth looking at.

 

I will admit though, these bread things are pretty funny, funny for about a few minutes then were quickly uninstalled and deleted. What a silly thing.:-/
