Lore for a 4-breasted race?

Recommended Posts

Madness, chaos, pleasure you name it. You can have freedom in that regard.

It may not show in the games, but daedric princes can make a lot of crazy, grotesque, illogical stuff. On mortals or to their daedra servants.

Sheogorath made a guitar out of the instestines of children he just murdered just because. Molag Bal raped a woman to the point he converted her in a undead, the first vampire. He also raped Meridia, or the entity it was before Meridia. Vivec a hermaphrodite and a "living god" for some people let Molag rape him to find enlightment, and then kill their children with Molag's dick used as a weapon. I can keep going. Theres a lot of crazy stuff in Elder Scrolls lore.

I like Sheogorath being behind it. After all he loves cheese. Cheese is made from milk. And milk comes from mamary glands. Maybe he just couldn't decide on which cheese he liked most, so he, in his never-ending wisdom, decided to create something (or someone) that would produce all important types of milk: cow, goat, sheep, and human.

I do kind of like the idea of Sheogorath "blessing" random girls with "extra cheese production".

[...] With hooves for feet, they are not primarily fighters (those are the guys) as they're the more "stay at labyrinth" types. [...] As a last ditch weapon, they tend to use the knife which is an instrument that they use in gardening as they tend to be the gatherers in the "hunter-gatherer" relationship.

[...]

Males mostly claim females by defeating the female's father in combat. Combat is always non-lethal, a sort of Greco-Roman wrestling match. There are few "fatherless females," as a widow is usually taken by a male or the widow submits to a male for protection (think step-dad). However, a male claiming a female from a "step-dad" doesn't fight the step-dad but rather must "purchase" the female from the mother for various physical gratuities.

[...] again signalling to males that despite physical appearances, she's no longer available for reproduction.

The misogny is strong with this one.

I mean, what they're describing is an archaic-inspired culture of something that is less human than it is humanoid.  Trying to compare that to modern social standards is a bit silly.

Ah, and that's where you're wrong. Since they describe a fantasy race, they can chose to shape the society of that race however they see fit. This includes being responsible for whether or not they choose to be a misogynistic or bigotted twat.

Crazy stuff are not just in The Elder Scrolls, also in reality. :classic_wink:

While polymastia is a thing, it's super-rare and generally doesn't form "real" breasts. Also, they follow the milk lines down the body, so they'd never be in the middle between the regular boobs, but very close below (common) or above (rare) the usual ones. So your pictures are either fake or costumes. Can't imagine them being very comfy, though...

Fun fact: humans develop with milk lines from their arm pits down to their pubic region (where udders would be located), but they degenerate prior to birth. So technically, teats on the mons pubis would be possible.

Point being, a multibreasted race with four breasts would be more "realistic", in the losest sense of the word.

the breasts are real, but not grown naturally. :classic_wink:

A lot of fantasy settings have villains who do horrible things.  Does that make the creators of those settings horrible people?

Social justice and the advancement of equality in modern society are important, but that's not an excuse to lock people into writing only within those aims.  Sometimes it's just flavor, or trying to paint a picture of a society alien to ours.  Not everyone who writes a bigoted or misogynistic thing are themselves a bigot or misogynist.  Social justice doesn't have to come at the expense of creativity.
