I have a question about istallation. I use Redapple for a while now. But it is not working anymore. I can´t go to work with a sim. I downloaded the bulding and the mod again.

i have th Logo and the package file in both downloaded files. Do I move both in the mods folder? Or is it doubled then?

Mod has been outdated for a long time. At the moment there is only the Patreon update version not the website. Kuish will release the free version along with her other mod in time. But you will have to wait. She has a Discord server announce the update, you can check it out.

So, just like a lot of people, I have the issue where objectives where i need to talk with the boss and such doesnt work. 
Seems like there wont be a fix for that in a while. But the work around i have found is to install the UI Cheats Extension Mod and simply right click on the objective after u actually have done it in the game... Well that kinda defeats the purpose i guess but its better than nothing...

This could mean you’re missing a pack or something like I was missing the Get to Work expansion pack, so when I built it from scratch it was saying incomplete and a blank spot for the item was there until I installed the pack & it showed I was missing THE front desk.

      - Change Log -

• Compatible with the Game Version 1.87.40.1030.
• Mod was rebuilt. Should improve stability and autonomy of NPCs. 
• Boss was fixed again. No shift changes for Boss.
• All goals during the workday were fixed. 
• All Career Interactions were fixed.
• Changed setup for Office Coordinators. Now they have more thing to do during a work day. 
• Many small fixes.
• I would appreciate any ideas and suggestion on how to develop this mod further. This mod was supposed to be a test project, and I'm not sure what features I can add to it that wouldn't be better suited for AEP mod. Thanks in advance!

One big thing you could fix is make elders not able to work at red apple two worker in my game are elder one ate all the food my sim made the other keeps walking around doing the bad back thing

When it comes to promotion task requirements, I'm stuck at "Learn Writing" in the 2nd/Virtual Sex Operator stage, my character's Writing skill is 10 now ('ve been making the character work on it every time they come home+in the empty days) But the task doesn't progress, still 0/2. Is there any console command that I can use to manually complete it? Edit: I guess it doesn't matter since my char got promoted yet again

I love this mod but I did have one question. Everything has worked good so far. But I got my relationship up with the boss. Both for friendship and romance but so far it has not been possible to do anything with him beyond seducing. I have WW and everything I think I need but I can't really do anything beyond the seducing interaction.

So I can't seem to get promoted to level 2.  I have both requirements leveled up.  I'm in the excellent range.  I even debug cheated myself to Energized mood in case that was wigging it out.  So I do the flirt with the boss track (probably over a dozen times), never get promoted, progress bar stays at the same point about half way through the excellent field.

 

Edit: Nevermind found the solution in discord.  Have to send them to work alone for the last bit.

I haven't tried the latest version, but from what I've read, at the point where you are, you just need to click on a couch, the desk or wherever and choose a wicked whim animation.

Hello, first, thanks alot for your great mods ! 
I have an issue with the mod; everything seems to work correctly, but for some reason I don't have a "Tell a joke to the boss" option and the objective doesn't tick when I tell a "normal" joke. Does anyone have an idea about what could be the pb?

That's what I've been trying. But for some reason he always refuses and it says- "The current situation is preventing Sim 1 and Sim 2 from having sex" I gut no clue why.

Most likely they don't have high enough relationship values to have sex.  Which seems incongruous given that this is basically a boss taking advantage of a worker situation or maybe your role play is that your character will do *anything* to get ahead (or give it, as the case may be).

 

There are some traits you can give sims, like the boss, so they'll have sex with anyone.  I don't know what they are offhand.  Also, the newer versions of wicked whims has settings which make sex either harder (needs more love/friends relationship value) or easier (anything with everyone goes).  I haven't played recently, so I'm not familiar with these settings.

I only just returned to Sims 4 after a few months of having it shelved and I downloaded this update since I saw it finally fixed the boss telling joke bug, but now my venue won't register as the Red Apple Studio. I downloaded the new venue list and the actual venue since I saw they were also updated along with the mod with a few extra bytes, but the venue is only listed as Generic when I try to classify it when placing it down. I then don't get the option to go work the profession on site. Does anyone have an idea on how I should approach this? I just updated my Sims 4 game thinking the version difference may have been the issue, but no dice so far.

 

On updating my Sims 4 game, I now get to choose the option of Gallery when classifying the studio, but the textbox right after placing it down lists the venue as Generic. When I further try to rotate the lot so that the entrance actually faces a road, the whole lot then gets reclassified as Residential.

 

Update 1: Still no solution. I previously used version 1.1.5e from here and after comparing the files, I noticed that the old no CC office zip had a duplicate(?) package for Red Apple. The new no CC office zip does not have this duplicate so I think might have affected the updated package and I didn't realize until now because I was simply overwriting old files with new files and there was no new duplicate to overwrite. I deleted the duplicate and moved the new Red Apple package from the new Red Apple folder into the Mods section itself (as opposed to one level inside a Red Apple folder, I'm not sure if this mattered, I tried only deleting the duplicate package from the old office zip before but for some reason I couldn't even see the career available to join).

 

I'm 95% certain I'm now using all the files from the current download with nothing from the old download after making sure that every old file was overwritten, but I still can't keep the studio as an office, it keeps turning into Generic after clicking the office option when placing it down. I can still join the Red Apple career and go to work, so the old duplicate file apparently wasn't needed, but I can't do the job on site.

 

Update 2: Still no solution. I temporarily emptied my Mods folder down to only Red Apple and Wicked Whims hoping that it was because of a conflict somewhere else, but still no fix. The Red Apple office still turns into Generic after placing it down and I can't play the profession. I'm now playing on version 1.88.228.1020 and Wicked Whims is using the May 11th (current as far as I can tell) version.

 

Update 3: ???? I'm not sure wtf is wrong with Sims 4, but nothing I place in Newcrest allows me to change venue type to something useful? Before, I would place my Red Apple Studio at Midtown Meadows in Newcrest (big lot at top of world) and it worked as well as the mod could work while it wasn't updated for that time, but now nothing I place at Newcrest is able to be anything aside from unmodded venue types. I got a hint when I placed the Photo Studio from AEP into the empty lot in Magnolia Promenade while I was testing on another fresh save and it correctly changed into a Gallery. Then, in the top left drop down menu, I saw I could change the venue type into Red Apple Studio as well as venue types from other mods. I don't know what broke in my game for an entire vanilla world from the base game to suddenly separate itself from all mods, but I guess this is tentatively resolved as a work around? Just don't use the entire world designed as a sandbox area I suppose. Now I just need to find a new Red Apple Plot that I'm not missing CC or game packs for that will aesthetically as well as physically fit in one of the few available empty plots I have because I think I'm a little too fed up at this point to spend however much time it would take to make my own office.

The plan I've seen is that Adult Entertainment Productions (AEP) will be updated, but it's a bit more complicated so I expect it'll take more time.  The last timing I saw was to have it done in May, but with it's complexity, it might take a bit longer.

 

That said, I can't wait for AEP.

I downloaded the mod and the venue but there is still no building for it all to happen in. Am I missing something?
