These problems usually occur when one has put RedAppleNet files too deep directories in the mod folder.  So:

.../mods/RedAppleNet/[files]  is OK

.../mods/Ksuihuh/RedAppleNet/[files] is not OK, as examples.

 

.ts4script files usually need to be in the same directory as other files in a mod.

Of course, one must also enable mods and script files in the Options window.

Update so i was able to get my sim  promoted, Had to send them to work alone but it did not recognize my sim had level 3 in writing skills.

It doesn't show the option to join the sim at work either. It only shows 'go to work' where the sim disappears and comes back after work has ended. What do I do?

You can't follow your sim to work because you haven't been able to put the office into the game.  I had the problem where downloaded stuff wasn't showing up in my gallery.  Since I started using Sims 4 tray Importer now things are there.

Even with moveobjects enabled I can't access almost any of the objects and the talking to the boss task is also impossible to finish.

Soo none of the social objectives for work day like "tell jokes to boss" or "complain about work" work, they don't complete

I saw someone post this back in December but no one ever answered with a solution. I don't get any of the work interactions with the boss. I can joke and flirt but if it's a social interaction like from the screenshots with the apple beside it, it isn't there. I double checked all the placements of the mod in the folders and everything but still can't figure out what's wrong. Help?? Kinda ruins the fun when it doesn't work lol

I'm getting gold everyday, but my performance meter isn't going up anymore. Also, I can tell a joke to my boss, but nothing I do checks off the 'Get To Know Boss' task. Any help/advice welcome.

First of all, thank you so much for sharing your mod, will try it soon. But be careful, the venue's list doesn't seem to work with Kiara's Careers so I use the one from Basemental.

Came to ask about an issue I have and read a couple of pages of comments here first...

 

I noticed my issue has been reported over and over by multiple people...  It is that I dont have the "talk to boss" option available... the red apple one...

 

Have any of you who reported this in the past been able to solve it? ...or did you give up on it due to lack of response?

Pretty much. The mod author hasn't been online since last year, so their mods are likely all abandoned now. This one unfortunately being already in a pretty much broken state.

Did you try go to Patreon or Discord to figure out what's going on with the mod author?

Cause I just visited the Patreon (https://www.patreon.com/ksuihuh/posts) and says Patreon is on pause.

And when I visit that link, this is what it shows me:

Discord requires an account and Patreon requires payments for 90% of the content, while the remaining 10% is buried in the shitty blog style "layout", so I obviously aren't even looking them up in the first place, let alone visit them.

If your installation is something like I show:
.../mods/RedAppleNet/{files}  (only one sub-directory with the files)

then I'd look to make certain the .ts4script file is in the same place as the other redapplenet files.  Then I'd check for any other installations.  There can be only one RedAppleNet!
