There's a cheat mod you can use to complete this task (you can check a few pages back for one that let's you complete a task with one click), but you'll run into issues with other tasks, the idea behind this mod is awesome, but it has been dead for a very long time. Rumor has it, there are newer versions behind a paywall, whether it's true or not, the fact is: this one do not work, period.

I will now remove this mod. There doesn't seem to be any more updates coming.

Until the mod is patched and the "Talk to boss" is fixed, I suggest using the UI Cheats Extension to bypass the "Talk to boss" goal. Right click on the goal to skip it.

Happens sometimes. A wonderful mod comes along, and then one day the mod author figuratively "steps out to buy  a pack of smokes" and doesn't come back. Maybe one day they will return. Maybe not. It really was a great mod, though.

It WAS indeed a great mod. I had a SW biz once, but instead of abandoning it after growing weary of the grind, I sold it. Lot's of users were happy. I'd bet there's more than one person who might be interested in continuing this. Actually, Hell, I'd give it away before abandoning it, so lets hope he/she returns.

its not dead and she will return, shes had a lot of issues to deal with in her real life but shes not abandoned it but itll take some time now

It's not compatible with WW neither which makes this mod officially dead until updated. Sims 4 without WW is like life without water.

Just a heads up, in the latest version (1.121.361.1020) all career mods that use 64 bit integers are breaking sim picker menus and triggering LEs, including this mod (possibly AEP and Sugar Life as well, I haven't checked). You might want to keep that in mind for the next version.
