Skyrim SexLab and VR

It's working but while using be seated I can't set mod action to none, it automaticly sets to sit and I have sit trigger when clicking trigger. Any ideas?

Fixed this by setting the gesture button to the default Mod Action (none)  in the gesture config MCM

how, there is no none setting ,only 2 sit options

hello,

 

i'm sorry but i dont understand how to use gesture control with valve index controllers while using sexlab, i dont get the bindings and how to activate them, when i push the buttons of my controllers the only things who happen are normal regular functions from the base game, like going to game menu, shout etc.

have you read desription on vrik nexus page how to use gestures?

yes but i dont understand post 591 page 24 of this thread 

 

is it preconfigured ? what do i have to setup in vrik gesture to get it working ?

for example, when reikiri says, "right button up+down" what does it mean , on valve controlers what do i have to push exactly there are numerous buttons.

Yes it's preconfigured. The example "right button up+down" means press button on right controler, hold it, move controler up, then down, release button. If that don't work first check if your vrik gestures work in the first place (configure some spell in vrik mcm). U may also (or may not) need to set none option mentioned above.

well i understand a bit better thanks to you, i will try again.

i will try to understand better how gesture vrik works, because yes i messed with it when i started using vrik but didnt really use it much to say the least, maybe i need more practice.

right button is the grip button on the right valve index controler right ?

looks like i still have way to learn to "master" vrik gestures system.

 

when i select action mod for press thumbstick/touchpad, it's blank i guess it's normal (like there is no mod to select) ? i see in your screenshots that it's also the case for you ?

This is actually kand of workaround for my rift s controllers (don't know if it's oculus exclusive problem) for gestures to work in animations. Not sure if you need that.

Everything works again. Just had to make sure had right load order with frame work, vr patch, hotfix patch and use all vr support tools consiletutillse vr etc :D

Everything seems to work except animations with the player, for some reason whenever I start them my head is locked too the player view and I can still control my hands; my characters torso then spins violently and it looks like the animation is forcing my arms to move but not my hands. This might coincide with the VRIK problems I am having which just seems to be holsters and gestures are not working and the configuration spell does not show up.

Do you see a VR section in the MCM of SexLab? 

Sounds like the script files of the original SL are overwriting the patch files. 

If using MO2 check that the patch is after SexLab in the left pannel.

Yeah I can see the VR section and I'm using vortex, I made sure no files from the patch are overwritten.

Disabled and re-enabled the vr patch in the sexlab mcm and that fixed it. Still can't figure out my problem with the VIRK holsters and gestures though, but that isn't for here. Unless anyone can help me with that 0-0

Hello all. I hope someone here can help me. I'm new to modding and such. I use vortex

 

For some reason I cannot get this patch to work. I'm using SL light because the full SL framework refuses to work. I would keep getting a "your papyrus.ini files are invalid" from SkyUI. Even though i let the papyrus vr files override the ones from SL. I even tried a suggestion I found online to unzip the SL framework, delete its papyrus.ini file and then rezip and install and it still gave the same error.

 

SL light works to the point that I can load up a save into the world and start animations but I get put into the air/through objects and not be aligned with the npc.

 

I looked for a SL light specific VR patch but it was discontinued and directed people to use the patch here.

The problem is the game will CTD if both the beta 8 patch and hotfix are both loaded. While the game will load up a save but freeze immediately when loaded into the world without the hotfix patch applied.

 

If anyone here could help I would greatly appreciate it!!

please read the whole post.

 

the wording made it seem like it would be ok to use that patch in place of the discontinued one.

How full Sexlab framework could not work in the first place? I would start there for your troubleshotting.

@dark_knight097 The best solution is to get the full SL to work.  

Install the VR version of Papyrus Util (the one in Miscellaneous files here) after installing the SL. The files of Papyrus Util need to overwrite files of SL, 

If you use MO2 make sure PapyrusUtil is after SL on the left side list.
