UNP vs CBBE

I'm getting a new computer and am installing Skyrim from scratch on it.

 

Is UNP or CBBE better for bodies?

 

Does it matter?

 

Is there something even better than those 2?

It depends on what you want and what visually pleasing your eye. silicones or natural looking? trends, support, physics?

Better or even worse. With CBBE being very old and outdated, UNP, UUNP, UNPB, 7B, and several others are probably newish. One of the things to consider is armor and outfits.

From my experience so far, having UUNP body should work well with other types of UNP structures when selecting armors. You will probably find more of a selection for this type of body than with CBBE.

As a modder, I use CBBE first and work into UNP, of course I have tried the other way around as well. You will notice that armor packs and some of the very good outfits will first be made in UNP format before someone comes along and makes a CBBE bodyslide.

 

So, yea, It's a matter of preference on how you like the body you wish to work with, but I would say UUNP, UNP, UNPB body types will be the better way to go as a player consumer.

The only real difference is outfit support, of which there are equal but differing sets

If I choose CBBE in Bodyslide, Do I have to choose it in the other mods like devious devices?

Yeap, All CBBE, or All UNP family.

 

I used CBBE, since that mod pop out, believe me that I tryed to keep it, I try hard but it's old and has low polygon count, the shapes of the body has poor formula attachments to Skeleton bones, this 2 last things dramatically limits the shapes that you can modify and finally in comparison with the smoother and newest UNP family bodies CBBE looks like a sharpy pile of boxes. I had to let it go. 

Do as you wish, I took me years to reach that conclusion, but dont waist too much  time, go for the fresh warm meat, let the old bones rot.

Here is the latest body that already have Skeleton support for all of its funtions and you also have Jane's body mod to add sliders variety.

everything what is listed here, does not appeal to me!
I use a body type which was created on 30 December 2011.
without this body, better said without the skeleton developed for it, would all other body types, stiff tits have!

That hasn't been true for a very very long time. Contrary to his vapid assertions, ousnius has no control over what happens to cbbe after the download button is pressed and his attempt to limit hipoly to sse for pants are my favorite hat reasons has been a pretty dismal failure.

I'm not on either side of that war thankfully. I remember seeing something on another thread and ended up in this war.

 

Was I thinking of polygons? Whatever. Pixel boobies are out of my league it seems.
