Stupid on my part, so use the wheel or re-download the mod. Main files have been repaired.

 

 

Hello Folks!    In November of 2013, n8k shocked the world with his epic Black Rose armor set. Perhaps you don't think it's "epic", but I loved it and used it for who knows how long. Attractive, nicely designed, great modeling and textures, were a few of its hallmarks. And it had transparency so one could see shit! WOW!

 

Oddly, no one has ever done anything with this armor, other than "BodySlide it" at one time or another. I did love this armor, although at times, I thought the legging wrinkles were too much and made my character's legs somewhat fat, like tree trunks. And the armor was a single "blob" and I wanted separate parts. My friends, that's all about to change!

 

The original armor was a single piece with gloves and boots. My version has new textures, more colors and more "glam". The armor is made up of a bra, panties, leggings, sleeves and with different gloves and shoes. And it's available in some exciting colors: basic black (of course), black & cream, red, red & cream, brown, mustard and olive. Hokey-Smoke!

 

This light armor is a terrific starter set and will look fantastic on anyone's Dragonborn. It's rating is close to leather, but because it consists of more pieces, the overall rating is considerably higher. Most use the   AddItemMenu   mod now-a-days, so use it to get your armor as it can't be forged. However, it can be tempered using leather.

 

I hope everyone enjoys this outfit. Quite a bit of work went into it's modification to create it. While not overly apparent, there were tons of minor tweaks to the mesh. "tightening" things up and to break the armor into various parts.

 

A version of this mod (noted HS) requires the  Heels Sound  mod by ApoKrytia for the "clicky" shoes. Be sure to have that already installed. However, if you wish not to use Heels Sound, there is also a "No Heels Sound" file as well - noted as "NoHS".

 

 

INSTALLATION & BODYSLIDE: 

 

Simply install my mod using your favorite mod manager. Once doing so, start up BodySlide and select "C5Kev's Epic Black Rose Armor HS (or NoHS) UUNP (or CBBE)"  from the "Group Filter" drop-down. Check the "Build Morphs" box and click "Batch Build" to make your armor parts. That's about it.

Have a rare 27X upvote, also have way less rare your mesh specularity settings are off if you're trying to differentiate the materials used into component parts. Also not really sure about the "grandma alligator that spent all of her life in a tanning booth before being made into clothing" normals, pretty noisy for fetishware.

Hello. Really like it but, Not able to wear panty and bra at the same time. Checked body slot usage in TES5 and don't see conflicts. Tried changing panty to different slot, was able to equip at same time as bra, but panty was invisible. Any ideas?

Hello KyLeeKu.  I have no idea why that is and seems unique to your installation. The bra uses slot 32, the panty, slot 52 - pretty standard stuff.  I can only suggest you blow out your installation and re-install.

Thank you very much for this beautiful armor, really nice work, I love what you have done with it.  ? I'm able to enchant all the parts however I can't upgrade the armor ratings on the workbench. The menu just shows blank. Not sure if it's something on my end, I don't have a problem upgrading other armors.

Thanks for the quick response C5Kev. I'm a happy man. ? Years ago Black Rose was the only armor worn by my PC  but then I changed to UUNP. Now it's back and it's better than ever. Thanks again.

I managed to fix it through Schlongs of Skyrim (of all things) by playing with the setting for the bra by making it revealing. Took a bit of dickering but now it works. No idea why but it's definitely something to do with the settings.

Got a question for you - I can see the outfits in bodyslide (CBBE) but they definitely don't look right in-game. I have no presetto build on. I think a screenshot would explain what I'm trying to say, so here goes:

 

This also happens for your "Glass is a Gas" outfit. Any ideas?

Hello Doc_Oc.  Hmm, I just installed it and it works fine for me.   For one thing, you haven't  selected the armor in the "Group Filter" drop-down as mentioned in the instructions...

 

 

 

 

Now, if you are referring to after selecting the armor (and you can see shit as shown), but the body preset is blank, here's what you do.  Find an outfit or select CBBE - anything really that shows your body preset.  Now click the "Save As" button and a list will pop up, allowing to select the outfits you want to assign the body preset to.  "Save", close BodySlide and then try it again.

Ah...  Well, I used to use poser mods for my screenshots. But as I mentioned to someone:  " I started making mods for UUNP, which is what I use and thought perhaps people might like what I create as well.  Then folks said, "Can you make it in CBBE?"  OK, OK.  The single mod is now two (2) mods. And I use the "Heels Sound" mod. Then folks said, "Can you make a no "Heels Sound" mod?  OK, OK.  So now, instead of two (2) mods, I have to create four (4) mods. Then folks said, "Can you make this for SE?"  Now the four (4) mods goes to eight (8) mods - for one outfit!  It's never ending... "

 

By the time I get all the mods done, I'm too lazy for fancier screenshots...  ?
