Didn't see this earlier, but I'm thinking about setting up a content creation thread so everyone can create whatever clips they like. As the methods are fairly complex to get into, I need some spare time to set it up properly though. As we get closer to the holidays I should have some time off that will help. But the idea is to create a thread with instructions for how to work with different types of sources, how to edit clips down to a workable length, and how to convert to a format the game uses for testing in-game. Then when clips have been tested, their instance ID # (which is typically randomly generated when the clip is added to a package) can be posted in the thread along with a download link, so that on subsequent releases the ID# is included in the playlist of the mod. The sheer amount of content and variety would greatly increase this way, and thanks to being able to support optional clips, everyone can download what they want and skip what they don't want. 

 

I have some ideas how to set this up in a fairly organized fashion. I haven't had much time for clip creation lately, but I think this would be a great improvement. I've been experimenting with custom interactions and custom objects and trying to tie in a custom skill. I think it would be awesome if I could get some of this working so it could be more than just another porn channel mod. I'll post more info about it later, but I'm really looking into how to trigger animations and whims via XML for some of this. I've found some info and tutorials on some other threads, which helped with some of it, but there's not much info out there on custom skills or triggering animations from custom interactions.

I've been experimenting with custom interactions and objects while trying to add some additional features.

 

   

 

Between tutorials and sheer intuition, I've been able to create clones of items with customized properties that also allow custom interactions.

They don't actually DO anything YET, but I'm looking into how to trigger specific animations and tie them in with a custom blowjob skill.

Any info on custom skills is VERY hard to find, though, and I've only been able to figure out some of the XML and scripts and intuit how they function. 

If anyone has any familiarity with how to trigger specific animations or how custom skills work if they could provide some guidance, it would be appreciated. 

Meanwhile, I'm still researching how to do these things which will come in handy when adding the custom gig later. Hopefully I'll make more progress over the holidays.

 

I also intend to begin a content creators thread in the next few days so people can enjoy their own clips and potentially get them supported by the mod in future revisions, or at least lay the groundwork for that. I'll cover how to work with different sources to begin with and then how to put clips in game for testing while avoiding the pitfalls that will cause clips to crash the game after playback.

so i can never get the channel to play any of your clips all it ever plays is 3D porn from the FAPZone (like over watch and witcher characters) im not sure if any mods are conflicting I deleted AirplaneRandys mod and it still did it . I have way to many mods to go through to try and figure out which one is causing this so if anyone happens to know the name of the conflicting mod please tell me if not i guess i will just have to go through them 1 by 1 thanks in advance ?

No worries Bane84; I had wondered what you meant at first. I edit most of my own clips, although I think one upload was part of a compilation I found on Pornhub.

There always is the remote possibility that two mods could use the same instance ID for a clip, which could cause a conflict. But the chances are pretty slim when dealing with codes like

"0x07B6B2080AFB686B". These codes are randomly generated but there's always a small chance. While I hadn't heard of that mod, I'm sure there's others out there.

 

But if you DO find one of my clips is conflicting with another, let me know; I can always change the instance ID code to eliminate the conflict.?

 

If the mod uses the Action channel, though, it's another story. I've been trying to figure out how to add an additional channel independent of the others, but no luck so far. Two conflicting playlists for the same channel will probably cause a problem.

That's interesting about the hentai; I have some clips made mostly from gif images where I mixed audio from another porn in, but real clips may work better of course, and uncensored is hard to find, so I'd like to work with that.

I'll be taking a look at some these different clips and see what I can come up with.

Wow! That's a lot of content! Like 20GB of content! I can do a lot with that; I think I already had the Live 16 Show minus the intro, but there's a lot more here!

And the full Milfmania clip! Nice! I'll be going through a lot of the other content and see what I can come up with, but I think at least 2 brazzers live clips are in order; I'll redo the one I previewed last night now that I have the full clip to work with. And probably I'll put an Anal adventures clip together; there's a lot more here, and in combo with what I already have a lot is possible!

If you have any ideas for themes or editing let me know! Unfortunately, the game has trouble with clips of any major length, so I'm limited to about 3 and half minutes each. I've had to be creative with my editing sometimes to fit things in, but much gets cut out in the process. Sometimes I have to pick what to focus on and ditch the rest, but it depends on the clip and the content involved. I hadn't used the 16 live show because I thought it would be difficult to squeeze all the good parts down to 3 and a half minutes, but I've done it for others, sometimes even just with intros (like School of Cock), so it should be possible.

After file conversions and taking a look at most of it, I still wound up with quite a lot of content to work with, some worthy of clips in their own right, and several that could have portions used in combo for another vid. I have a lot of ideas but some clips practically come together on their own. I'm looking into audio mixes for some of these clips for the background. I'll see what I can come up with from these.

Unfortunately 3 minutes is really not enough for a porn video. Although I doubt the developers were thinking

You're right; early on I had investigated max clip lengths, but since then I've learned a lot. Specifically, that clips created certain ways will crash the game regardless of length and that clips created from multiple segments have to be re-encoded into a single block. So I really should investigate again; I got a PM from a user that claimed to have done whole movies and got them to play in game, but he didn't give me the method used. But it should be possible to get longer clips, even  if not full videos. I'll investigate further this weekend because it will change everything if I can break that 3 minute 40 second barrier I've been adhering to so far. Multi-part videos help, but because playback is randomized, you can never count on them playing in the proper sequence.  

 

While I'm sure there are in-game limitations, I think I falsely concluded I had a clip length issue early on. I've successfully tested a 17 minute clip already. Likely because I didn't re-encode a multi-segment clip and it took a bit to figure out that was an issue. Instead I often cut small portions to get things working in game, but I think more can be done now that I see where I went wrong. I'll try it out with the Milfmania clip; maybe I can get a good amount in.

 

I don't think hour long segments are practical in-game though; I'm thinking of making Milfmania a 2 part clip, with each part a decent segment previewing all the action. Maybe 20 minutes in all so it will still be edited down, but you should take credit for making things different already; just by pointing out that the time limit I was using was impractical made me look into this again, so a lot more will be possible in the future. I've already discovered that packaging involves some major compression on these larger files: a 120MB video became a 60MB package and it worked in-game. I don't want to compress it too heavily because quality goes out the window; the vp6 codec the game uses is way too aggressive already, but I am still making an effort to keep file sizes down.

I spent some time encoding for a Bulgarian tracker a while back, so I'm used to communicating with people all over the world.

I was working a graveyard shift at the time, so much of my socializing was online. Eventually it led to a daytime job with better money and hours.

If I'm confused on any front I can always ask what you meant, but you're doing just fine. I'm going to see if I can get the 2nd part of Milfmania done today; I did wind up with a 32MB clip for the first part, and it worked in-game without problems. I'm glad you pointed out that 3 and a half minutes doesn't really cut it, which spurred me to look into it again.
