PECO Posted January 31, 2024 Author Posted January 31, 2024 @TastefullyAdult Hi! The ninety-something individual video package files weren't updated, only the framework was, you don't need to download those again. In fact, the video packages almost never need updating, but in a rare case they do, i will specifically say so in the update notes. DownThemAll seems to work just fine (tried it out just to be sasfe), so all i can think of is that maybe you are in incognito mode, that's when it usually borks up. 2

So happy I don't have to re-download those. Regarding DownThemAll, I don't use incognito mode, but I am behind a VPN. Sadly, if I can't use this program behind a VPN I may just never be able to use it. Glad to see it is working though somewhere.
whatever22345 Posted February 1, 2024 Posted February 1, 2024 Is there a way to install all packages with just a few clicks? I mean, it's a kinda annoying install all packages one by one
Karuselleri Posted February 13, 2024 Posted February 13, 2024 Hello! I love this mod, thank you so much for creatign it for us!! ❤️ I have one question though: how can I get my sims to watch the videos until the end? I have set their attention span to maximum but still they keep shutting the TV off in the middle of the movie they´re watching what could cause this?

Watch Porn Channel > Watch X channel, Watch Porn Channel > Video rental or Watch Porn Channel > Watch X channel with I just tested the attention span for a vanilla new game with Bob Pancake for both watching a channel and the Video rental, and - apart from being chatty with Eliza while watching - everything worked as intended... so, yeah, I dunno.

Hmm, maybe it's just the needs then. This happens mostly with the video rental, usually when they watch it autonomously they stay a little longer.
Dmetal2001 Posted February 29, 2024 Posted February 29, 2024 Surprised no one else has reported issues with the latest EA patch, as I did have a tuning error: Possible Cause (Confidence: 100%) \CinErotique\BASE_FRAMEWORK_PECO_CinErotique.package Reason [cjiang] Error occurred within the tag named 'possible_actions' (value: L) (TunableMinimumLengthError)

I had to do the 50/50 method to figure out this was the one throwing last exceptions at me Would love an update on it.

craft90 Posted March 2, 2024 Posted March 2, 2024 'ello! I seem to have an issue with sims not completing the Seasons movie premier holiday tradition. I'm not sure if it's related to this mod or not, but I took it out just in case. Does the update fix an issue such as that? Or is this due to some other broken mod?
ChekieAngel Posted March 2, 2024 Posted March 2, 2024 Hello i just want to confirm do i need to redownload all the videos when the mods updates?

Are we talking about the "TV Season Premiere" holiday? Seems to work just fine for me. It showed up properly, and I was also able to complete it without a problem. 1

One of them started watching and then went up and left autonomously. She never finished the tradition. Out of the four Sims only one fulfilled the holiday before I removed your mod for testing purposes. It was a earlier version of the mod though so maybe it's fixed now?

Sorry, but I'm unable to replicate what you're describing. This mod - by default - does not interfere with the ingame TV channels... Looking at the ingame tv_Watch_Holiday_TVPremiere interaction's tuning, it's set to last for a fixed 60 minutes, with only the usual default alt exit conditions in case one of the sims' motives (energy, hunger, bladder) are near failing or in case the TV breaks. ------------------ EDIT: I'll probably include a little "correction" to the ingame watch tv autonomy in the next update that will force the sim to choose the Season Premiere in case the holiday is active and is not fulfilled yet by the sim. It's alright. I guess it's just my game glitching. Sorry for bothering you. The Sim's motives were fine. I don't recall what exactly they went to do. Probably grabbing a glass of water or something. I don't remember. It's not important anyhow.

Z0mBieP00Nani Posted March 8, 2024 Posted March 8, 2024 I don't mean to make a stink, but what's wrong with this picture? I'm not sure if there is a way to code the mod so that this sort of thing can't happen, but if it is possible to do that, it might be worth looking into.

Okay, this picture only tells "half a story"... The child sim is sitting there, but it's not actually watching the TV is it?... (The CinErotique photons radiating from the TV are too advanced to penetrate its - yet - underdeveloped eyes. 😉 ) Joking aside, I suppose I can add some privacy rules, so if a child comes nearby they will just get upset and leave the room - I'll look into that... for the meantime, exercise some responsible parenting and send the brat away to play with its dolls or something. 😀 Edited March 8, 2024 by PECO. 2

It just looks questionable, certainly to those who don't think highly of these kinds of mods in the first place and actually would raise a stink about such things.
Chipendale Posted March 8, 2024 Posted March 8, 2024 I'll be honest, I didn't even notice the child. All I saw was the empty table.

PECO Posted March 8, 2024 Author Posted March 8, 2024 (edited) Okay, I've implemented stricter privacy setting for the channels. Child (or younger) sims will now be sent out of the room if the adult want to watch porn; also if they enter the room while porn is on the TV they will leave embarrassed. I'm still testing and trying to fine tuning it, but will probably post an updated framework tomorrow. I also have to emphasize, for the record (so nobody gets any wrong ideas): Child sims were never be able to watch porn in the first place! It was always forbidden, and always will be! These upcoming changes are just for making things even stricter, banishing them from the affected room completely! Edited March 8, 2024 by PECO. 3
