Set your browser so it doesn't ask to confirm where to save downloaded files, then if you right-click on the "Download this file" > Open in new tab, then you can just hold down CTRL and click on the "Download" buttons in succession, should take literally less then a minute to go down through the list and clicking them.

 

Alternatively, you can also use a download manager browser extension, I have a step-by-step tutorial on that too.

Looking at the last screenshot, I'm 99% sure you made an installation error (as it shows the zip file's full name as a folder), and the included script file can not load, as it's more than one folder deep within the Mods folder.

 

Fixing it is very easy, just open the !CinErotique_Mod_Framework_v7.1a_build20231213 folder, there you'll see a folder called CinErotique (which will contain a file called BASE_FRAMEWORK_PECO_CinErotique.ts4script), now move that folder straight into the Mods folder.

 

BTW, it looks like you made the same mistake with Sensual Studio as well, so do the same steps for that too, otherwise that won't work either.

I eneded up going down the list and just doing Right clic + open in new tab for instant download. Worked like a charm! Thanks!

hello, recently installed this mod but none of the channels or videos show up, only the basic preview video. I've made sure the cinerotique folder is properly placed, and the "watch porn on tv" action shows up.

tv I initially used already had the super reception upgrade, tried buying a subscription on a tv while on vacay and it still didnt work, no videos show up on the rental list either.

So let's get it straight;

You can see the interaction in the TV's pie menu selection, but when you select Show all videos, there's nothing on the list. Is that right?

 

If that's the case, I must ask the obvious question, did you download/install any of my video package files as well, and not just the core CE mod.

 

As all my stuff is Wicked Whims compatible, so you can also check if you have any of my videos installed by using WW's Watch Porn interaction on the TV.
Does any vids show up on that list apart from the four default ones?
(the WW defaults are the ones with a purple llama thumbnail)

Hmmm... weird. Everything looks fine, but the videos are not loaded in. Not even in WW, which they definitely should do so.

Maybe try moving a couple of them from the VIDEOS folder to the root of the MODS folder, and see if that helps.

Okay, in that case your Resource.cfg file in the MODS root folder is probably not set up properly, and the game does not look for package files beyond the first level of subfolders.

Open the Resource.cfg with Notepad, and check if it contains the following lines:

Priority 500
PackedFile *.package
PackedFile */*.package
PackedFile */*/*.package
PackedFile */*/*/*.package
PackedFile */*/*/*/*.package
PackedFile */*/*/*/*/*.package

Although the Resource.cfg settings I gave you are supposed to be the default ones that the game creates automatically on first game boot (or if the file is missing), so you might want to keep an eye out for any utilities/mod managers you might be using, as it looks like they might be interfering with it.

Improved Settings menu

All setting now have been moved into an easy to use picker menu tied to the sim. This provides easier navigation, and a convenient "one-stop-shop" for everything, without the inconvenience of using clumsy sub-pie menus. You can find it by clicking on the sim, then selecting 'CinErotique' from the pie menu.

 

 

One thing on the bottom of the list might catch your eye... that's the brand-spanking-new...

 

 

Collection Tracker

It has been requested by many users to have a convenient way to track your CineMinis figurine collection, but until now I couldn't really think of a good way to do so, as the ingame collection manager seems to be hardcoded in such a way, that it makes it really hard to add anything to it without the high risk of breaking the whole damn thing... so I was like "Fine, I'm going to build my own collection manager!" (with blackjack and hookers :P)

In this new Collection Tracker menu, you can see all the CineMinis listed, with an easy to keep track marking of the ones you already got... You can even click on all of them to bring up a nice info panel that really helps to showcase these gorgeous little pieces of plastics.

Note: the ownership markings are based on the active sim's inventory and (when at home) their home lot. So if the sim has a figurine in either in their inventory or somewhere in the house, then it will be marked owned.

There's also 11 new CineMinis added to the base mod, bringing their total number is up to 30 now!

 

New 'Watch Porn With...' interaction

This is another feature that has been asked for many times, and finally got around to implement it.
It's basically like the 'Watch Movie with..." interaction, just for CinErotique. You can find it on the TV's pie menu, 'Watch Porn channel' > 'Watch Porn channel With...' then select up to three other sims from the list, and let the fun begin.

Some Notes on this feature:

- The feature is only implemented for the 7 main channels at the moment, and are not available for the individual Video-on-Demand titles. That would require quite a massive update of all the individual video packages, so it's something that maybe can come at a later date.
- At the moment, You can only select sims to watch with who have at least met with the active sim (I mean, who would watch porn with strangers, am I right?! :)... this also means that if there are no matching sim available, the option to 'watch with' will not show up on the TV... but as always, I'm open for suggestions, so if you have any better idea on how this list should be filtered please share it with me in the comments.
- You'll notice that as soon as the interaction is started the TV is turned on to the chosen channel. This is on purpose, so sims don't have to waste time on waiting for each other to arrive. This is especially useful if - let's say - a third sim is coming from somewhere further away, so this way the other 2 sims can just start watching the TV without waiting around like a donkey for the last sim to arrive. 😉

New Objects

New Watchable Always-On Cinema screens

While we already had the static (decorative) always-on screens in the mod, now I've finally added some that can be watched by the sims (but can not be tampered with)

 

 

These Cinema Displays are ideal for cinema builds (duh), as you can just plop them down, and let your simmies flock to see the show.

There are two versions of this screen, one is framed and one is frameless. They are the same size and do the same thing, so it's just about which look you prefer.

They both feature 5 swatches, which represent the playlist they will show. These are:

• All videos - this just plays random videos, like the Shuffle Channel does on the TV.
• Movies - this playlist only includes the videos that are marked as movies.
• Straight / Lesbian / Gay - these are - quite self-explanatory - only play content that are marked as Straight, Lesbian or Gay respectively.

They can be found in Build Buy > Electronics > Televisions > 'CinErotique CINEMA display'

Note: you can not "change the channel" on the cinema screens once they are placed on the lot. If you want to replace them with a different one you have to do it from the Build-Buy menu... They only cost $1 though, so it shouldn't break the bank to do so 😉

PS: don't forget, if you don't like the size, you can always just resize object by using the [ and ] keys.

New Glass Shelf Displays, optimized specifically for displaying figurines

It comes in two versions, one is just a plain old shelf, the other one has built in lights - to better showcase the figurines - as they can look a bit wonky under insufficient room lights.
Not much more to say, lol, they are shelves, you can put stuff on them 🙂

 

 

They can be found in Build Buy > Surfaces > Displays > 'Glass Shelf Display for figurines'

Note: the lit version of the shelf will cast light on the wall behind it, which - depending on the wallpaper - can look a bit too bright. This is something I'm aware of and will fine tune it in later versions, but it's quite a struggle, as the lighting component of modding is rather poorly documented, so I'm kinda just experimenting with changing numbers around and see what happens. 😅

Video Rental has been updated

The 'Rent a video' option has been moved from the TV's main pie menu to Watch Porn Channel > Video Rental. Where once opened it will list all the available videos, but if you click on the top item in the list you can filter the selection further based on genre / orientation.
This is nothing new, just gives you a quicker way to navigate over the old system of using sub-pie menus.

 

I tested it quite a lot while working on it in the past month, but there could always be circumstances that I can't account for, so if you find a bug, PLEASE LET ME KNOW!

 

 

Also, a bit of shameless shilling:
On top of the 30 CineMinis figurines that are included in the new base mod framework, there is now also 17 more available for download on -PATREON-

RARE BUG FOUND

 

I just found out that the mod throws a LE error, in the rare case when you have the CInErotique mod framework installed, but you haven't also downloaded/added at least one of the actual video package files as well... The issue is caused by an interaction I use for internal testing to generate a list of all installed video files borking out if it can't find any.

 

I mean this should be an extremely fringe case, as the mod is pretty pointless to have if you don't also install videos for it to watch.

 

Nevertheless, this is an oversight from my part, and will issue an update probably later on today, but for the meantime, it can be easily solved by downloading and adding AT LEAST ONE of the video package files to your Mods folder.

 

EDIT: This issue is now fixed in framework v7.2b

No, when the framework is updated, you only need to update those files included with it.

The individual video packages are future proofed, and need almost no update ever!
If by any chance they need to be updated (like they did in last April, because of a total format change), then I will specifically communicate that it the update notes here.

How to acquire figurines in game:

The CineMinis figurines are collectible items, that can not be bought outright, but rather you need to find them by opening CineMinis boxes.
Each box contains one figurine of random rarity.

 

CineMinis boxes can be bought from either:

• using the Computer > Order > CinErotique Webhop > CIneMinis Figurine Box ($100)
• or by clicking on the active sim > CinErotique > Collection Tracker > Purchase more CineMinis boxes.

How to install figurine package files:

• Download the figurine package file(s) of your choice from above.    
• Copy the package file(s) into the CinErotique > MINIFIGS folder within your Sims4 Mods folder.
  (Default path for the Mods folder is: Documents/Electronic Arts/The Sims 4/Mods)

Dependencies:
These package files are not standalone mods, they need the latest version of the CinErotique Main Mod file to be installed to function!

So sorry to bug with questions, but I'm having a lot of issues with attempting to use the "DownThemAll!" extension from your main file post (I have been following the tutorial and screenshots).

Up to the point that confirm=1 selected them all and I clicked download there were no issues. But on the actual download manager every file is forbidden and can't download.

Since all the videos were updated Thursday I'm assuming I need to download all 97 files (the framework + 96 videos) again. To be clear, I do want all the videos; I don't assume I need them all.

If this extension can't work do you happen to have another place to download your videos in bulk? I downloaded your mod for the first time a couple weeks ago and I just can't go through the pain of manually downloading every file again this time around.
