blackyesterday Posted August 14, 2019 Posted August 14, 2019 Hey there! I've got a pretty weird issue, it never happened before on my previous oldrim installs. So, my game crashes when I go in the open world, or in cities. I've tried disabling every mod, and then enabling them one by one, and i've found the culprist: XP32 Maximum Skeleton Extended. That's pretty weird. When it's disabled, everything is fine, I can go in cities/open world (everyone is in t-pose but that's normal), but when i enable it and try to go in cities/open world, i've got few seconds of loading, and then CTD I've searched on the internet, but no one seems to have a similar problem. Can you help me with that? Thanks! Sorry for my bad english! BONUS QUESTION! : Don't know if it's related, but when I launch a save, the game tells me "DDe: DDe has detected 'CD' installed but not the 'DDe - CD Patch'. Please install the 'CD Patch' so DDe can use CD's DDs/outfits." But.. DDe - CD Patch is already installed... Also, you can enable XPMSE but tick its .esp off. This might solve your issue. Again, do not disable or delete the mod simply turn off the .esp.

Done for RS Childrens! Well, the T-Pose happen when I remove XP32. In that case, I can go in the open worlds or cities, but I don't want to disable XP32, since a lot of my mods are based on it ?
Grey Cloud Posted August 14, 2019 Posted August 14, 2019 First off, the skeleton for RS is the same XPMSE skeleton - just re-scaled so you don't have adult-sized children. Next, your skeleton is set up correctly - 115 bones etc, so nothing is overwriting it - pointless re-installing it. The problem is likely to be one of your mods which is not happy with XPMSE rather than a problem with XPMSE per se. If you are getting error messages about DD/CD then sort it out. Ask on the support threads for whichever mod. You need to run LOOT on that load order. Just out of interest, what version of MNC are you using?
blackyesterday Posted August 14, 2019 Author Posted August 14, 2019 49 minutes ago, stingray1995 said: to clarify something here, there's a big difference between the xp32 skeleton and the xpmse skeleton; from your load order, you're using xpmse. do a re-install of it, with the very default options selected- no random weapon placements; no fancy animation replacers; no beta things, specifically flagged as bugged. and make sure that nothing overwrites those files apart from FNIS' generated files. there's a bit of controversy about who should overwrite who: FNIS or XPMSE, and the answer is, it doesn't matter, because nothing conflicts; but I have FNIS after XPMSE in any case. if you're using mod organizer (which you really should be), FNIS and XPMSE are probably the two installed mods that should be placed at the very bottom of your priority. if there's a red conflict flag with XPMSE or FNIS, then there's definitely a problem Awesome! Just putting XPMSE & FNIS at the very end of my load list (and turned of some 2K textures mods) fixed it! Thanks

In over 3 years, I have never had either of those mods anywhere near the bottom of my load order. Your load order is a mess. There is no way LOOT put AS LAL that high up. Your problem would appear to be an incorrectly configured game - i.e. memory related. Try with the textures back in but keep FNIS and XPMSE where they are.
Grey Cloud Posted August 14, 2019 Posted August 14, 2019 13 minutes ago, stingray1995 said: LOOT is by no means whatsoever a silver bullet; I never suggested it was. 14 minutes ago, stingray1995 said: it makes tons of mistakes and there has to be custom rules added to the plugins. No it doesn't and no there doesn't. 15 minutes ago, stingray1995 said: under no circumstances should anything be overwriting the contents of xpmse and fnis. You may want to take that up with MadMansGun. 21 minutes ago, stingray1995 said: I don't know why LOOT feels the need to have those irreversible rules to put it at the bottom. because it has to make it feel 'special' I guess? I guess that it is because AS alters or affects several cells and therefore needs to be the 'winner' otherwise it wont work. 22 minutes ago, stingray1995 said: the best thing to do is filter up that shit in xedit, make a custom patch and fix every conflict like I did Never had the need to make any sort of patch in 3 years. Most conflicts so called aren't conflicts as such. One thing loads, next thing loads over it end of story. 29 minutes ago, stingray1995 said: here's a good example of what a modlist/loadorder should look like It's not a good example of anything. I wouldn't have most of those mods on my PC and any mod list which needed that many 'fixes' cannot be good. I see you learned how to merge mods - colour me impressed, I'm sure. I prefer to choose my mods carefully and operate self-restraint so I have no need of merging mods.

I've given the OP something he can easily test, i.e. the texture thing. Notice that he had the Hi-Res packs but not the unofficial patch - never a good move. It is nearly always memory-related with Skyrim. Skeleton and meshes can cause CTDs as can too many animations. 99% of the time LOOT does its job. The other 1% doesn't necessarily result in constant CTDs. 1 hour ago, stingray1995 said: just stick it down at the bottom there and let it overwrite ALL those other meaningless plugins that want to make their own changes in those VERY SAME CELLS. That was your advice. Mine was to let LOOT put XPMSE and FNIS where it wanted to. Neither of those two mods alter any cells as far as I am aware. Two or more mods making changes to a cell are not necessarily a bad thing; it depends what the changes are. Example from my game: I use an ENB, Skyrim Climate Overhaul Summer Edition, Noble Skyrim, Relighting Skyrim, ELE and Remove Interior Fog. All of those may do something to a particular cell. All installed with NMM and sorted with LOOT and, strange to relate, my game doesn't explode. In fact it very rarely CTDs. 1 hour ago, stingray1995 said: look, if it seems to be brighter in here as opposed to there, that's only because some asshole draugr deathlord forgot to turn off all the lights on his way out. and don't be fooled either. that's NOT ambient fog inside of that occupied fort; that's just a bandit chief who needs to try a smoking patch or nicotine gum instead. I've no idea what you are raving about here. 1 hour ago, stingray1995 said: hell, if it ain't broke, DON'T fix it! Do you think that there is something wrong with that? 1 hour ago, stingray1995 said: a little inconsistency and the occasional npc, who decided to tanbed her face and no place else, everyday for an entire month, never hurt anybody. You are raving again here. 1 hour ago, stingray1995 said: -moreover, DON'T make ANY patches to fix ANY said conflicts and THEN SOME, or merge ANY existing plugins to reduce the stress on the game and at the same time, allow you to add MORE to the game. I said I don't need patches, I didn't say they should never be used. What 'stress' on the game would this be? I can get the game to do what I want and still stay under 255 plug-ins. It's not that difficult. I'm currently on about 245 +/- plug-ins and maybe 290 mods. 1 hour ago, stingray1995 said: because you obviously know A LOT more about everything than I do. I probably do. MadMansGun Posted August 14, 2019 Posted August 14, 2019 try extracting the human skeletons and installing them by hand, if that fails try a different XP32 based skeleton. also be careful, the xp32 creature skeletons are not MNC compatible, they should be loaded/installed before MNC, not after.
Grey Cloud Posted August 15, 2019 Posted August 15, 2019 16 minutes ago, stingray1995 said: all of this goes under the 'rationalization' category. Yep, it is rational. I notice you cannot refute anything I wrote though. FYI, yesterday I was in T5Edit and noticed that Dragonreach has 18 mods doing things in there. That included Skyrim and USLEEP. No problems and no patch required.
