Villains from the Urbz

 

 

A couple more sims based on Urbz characters, this time it's the ones put in the group of "villains" in that game, which essentially seems to have meant a recurring character who shows up, takes your stuff, acts like an asshole and has to be defeated with a "social move" before completing a level (as I understand it). They are Kiki Blunt, Urangoo McBain and Harry Snivel. 

 

Harry Snivel is a landlord and has actually been assigned as such with NPCC so if you put him in your world and don't play him, he should fulfill that function, getting a landlord NPC ready and uploaded for my world (which I've finally started working on again) was basically the primary reason I decided to finish these three up, and if I did one I figured I might as well do the other two. 

 

The other two aren't as well-characterized apart from their appearance, I put Urangoo in a low level of the criminal career, didn't quite know what to do with Kiki so left her unemployed for now. Both have mid-level mischief skill and suitably "villainous" traits, including kleptomaniac.

Notes: Social Smoker, Insensitive, Night Owl, Argumentative

 

 

Urangoo McBain

Age: 22

Height: 6'2"

Occupation: Felonius Monk 

Notes: Insensitive, Argumentative, Irresponsible, Cold Acclimation

Lifestyles: Adrenaline Seeker, Energetic

 

 

 

Harry Snivel

Age: 31

Height: 5'10"

Occupation: NPC Landlord

Notes: Smoker, Insensitive

Lifestyles: Sedentary

Cash Monet, Diva Roma (both versions) and the Couture Twins have been updated and reuploaded. 

 

Almost no changes, just updated the archives to be in line with the new shared CC and no longer use unupdated CC skintones. Cash Monet has a slightly different skintone. All except 20 year old Diva Roma have had lifestyles added. 

Here's an archive which only contains the updated tray files, as well as the updated Diva Roma posters (still includedi in the 20 year old Diva archive) if you don't think you need to redownload these sims (since the CC used is largely the same).

You have to actually place lots in your game, not all lots I've made are in the save I've put together. That one probably never will be, it's just an interior, a set, it's not a real functional lot.

I forgot to take preview pictures(sorry!!), but as mentioned it's mostly minor stuff. You might be able to see some of the outdoors changes from this video I posted yesterday, so I'll post it here as well.

Updated and reuploaded Candy and Yuki Behr, Goopy Gilscarbo and the Vatore Siblings. 

 

Yuki Behr has a new hairstyle, and some of the sims have been set up with lifestyles, but other than that no changes other than bringing these in line with the December update for skintones and makeup and the new shared CC folder.

Here's some quick Japanese sims I quickly put together the basics of when Snowy Escape came out, they're still very much just sketches and don't really have much in the way of characterization or even names at this point. Tracy's half-sister Sachiko was originally in this group when I found a use for her. I might very well use these sims to create families around, perhaps even to use for the Simkuza, though having non-Simkuza families in Mt. Komorebi would be appropriate as well.

I've been a bit pre-occupied lately, and my update schedule (when my IRL schedule clears a bit) is going to be mostly focused on updating my world, but I can see about putting some of these on the agenda I guess.

I think the one on the right got reworked into Ashley Hwang, left looks like Alba Noguera, and shot in the dark on middle but I'd guess maybe Cody McFadden?

Middle sim is kind of out of the picture haven't updated or worked on updating. You're right about Ashley, sim on the left is still named Sydney and will be coming eventually together with family members (they're supposed to be from Sulani).

With the mod setup you typically use to run your save, are you even able to start the game without it locking up during load?
I'm going through my list of mods trying to determine what I need to disable pending update (or just disabled permanently if the author has stopped modding, etc). WW, LittleMsSam, and Kuttoe stuff has all already been updated.

Things seem to work fine on my end at the moment, though I haven't done lots of testing yet and haven't updated checked all my mods (though I don't have that many). Game loads just fine.

Assuming you're at least still using the ones listed on the front page, that at least narrows it down some. My game mysteriously stopped being able to load as soon as this stupid update hit. I might have screwed something up, but I have no earthly idea what or how. >.> I do not love the idea of starting from scratch... again... Thank you for the quick reply, though.

It's not going to be your CC. Almost certainly not. 

Find your mods, that is actual mods that alter gameplay in some way, remove them from your mods folder and try starting your game. If that works (it should, otherwise you probably have mods where they shouldn't be, i.e. an unorganized Mods folder), try adding them back to your mod folder one or a couple at a time and launch the game, keep at it until you find one that messes up the game. 

 

I've bascially never had to start from scratch due to updates, if that regularly happens to you, you should seriously think about reorganizing your mods folder and being aware of what you put into it and where. And never just throw the mods/CC from downloaded sims into it without inspecting it first, there's alot of sim creators who use Tray Importer very uncritically and it often results in their sim archives including the .package files from WW, Basemental Drugs, Nisa or other mods like that.
