Nothing from you saying why you wouldn't do one.

Then you havn't looked hard enough...

OK, answering the same stuff for the fifth or sixth time...

We use mods where the author doesn't want to be included in compilations. Some time ago a lot of authors left Nexus and the modding scene because of that. And now make a guess where Nexus got the idea from... Small hint, it starts with Wabba and ends with jack.

Way too many mods are now lost forever and i won't start/support something that could make more authors leave.

and big problem i saw with mod list is that people use them and start to go brain afk.
they don't read the mod description thy don't understandt what or why they do anything. I tried a mod list on nexus at the start of the year (2 years break from fallout) and it was horror. then i came back like two month ago and like riding a bike go back in moding with MO2 and looking more for ideas then just copy past everything.

i Relly like this list here but right know maybe 50% of it is load order

Fair enough.

Hey, I found something I want to share with you folk. I added the Weightless Junk and Other Items mod as a quality of life mod and It help my frame rate quite a bit on my level 70 save.

I've started using M8r98a4f2's Complex Item Sorter that does weightless items also.    It's a lot better than the pre-made sorting mods and I don't use Aylis's as I don't have any of the armor or weapons on the list.  Reason for the weapons is removal of the Tactical Reload mod, after reading it appears that can cause lots of crashes and it seems to have fixed most of my issues.  The armor is cause I use armor that Aylis doesn't approve of :D

in other words.. slooty and overpowered. ?

AND>> small reminder, go thumbs up the mods you actively use, it helps give the authors a little bit of coffee money, sometimes they can even afford a doughnut or bagel to go along with it.

Many armors in this modlist offer Vanilla body and CBBE body version. Which one should I use with FG bodyslide or whatever is fine?

I went with CBBE, mostly because I was converting from a CBBE body to fusion girl. But you are also grabbing the FG conversions for the ones in this list (and check here for other armours and clothing that have FG conversions if you don't just stick to Aylis' list).

Just a reminder to double check your steam update settings for fallout 4 and make sure its set to "Only update this game when I launch it".

Bethesda has annouced that FO4 is going Next-Gen at some time next year.

FALLOUT 4 IS GOING NEXT-GEN

Prepare for the future: A next-gen update is coming to Fallout 4! Coming in 2023, this free update will be available for Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 5 and Windows PC systems, including performance mode features for high frame rates, quality features for 4K resolution gameplay, bug fixes and even bonus Creation Club content!

I'm sure something like this will be posted repeatedly as the time approaches.

So basically the AE edition of Fallout.. not a surprise considering its having an anniversary...

The worst part is it sounds like the "HD Textures" DLC is gonna be included in the base... ugh

Really, the only surprise is its next year. I'm betting on early next year (Q1, early Q2), but only cause I'm expecting Starfield Nov 11 '23, so they won't want anything being released to distract from that.

So I found that the best conforming / looking armors ( bodyslides)  are from the CBBE version of the mod, I use those whenever possible. As for the "Nex Gen"  version, I was just commenting to someone the other day, that i am surprised it is taking them this long as there is still a very strong active mod community and that means Bethesda smell money to be made with minimal effort. And for the record, if they include the HD DLC trash they can count me OUT! Waste of file space that one is .

This update is going to be a disaster. Unlike Skyrim, the nexus drama has scarred FO4 modding scene. I wonder how many modders left are enthusiastic enough to update f4se mods.

Ironic then, isn't it, that Nexus hired the creator of Wabbajack.  Didn't like competition, I suppose.

Greetings world.  I used to be reasonably active but took some involuntary time off due to some fairly major heart surgery and other things I won't bore you with.  Point is, to anyone who might have wondered where I disappeared to, that's it.  It would seem I have a lot to catch up on.  I only hope this modlist hasn't exceeded my system's capabilities.  It seems to become less of a PC and more potato like with every new mod.  Sigh.  We can but try.

I hope everyone is well, or reaesonably so for the circumstances this world is creatibg, and happy modding!

because on Nexus about 80-90% of all mods for Fallout or Skyrim are NOT maintained by their authors anyway...

..will only lead to an "upgrading" of Fallout if this is accompanied by a lack of compatibility - that besides

me also many other players will not upgrade

and

continue to use their previous mod collection with their previous game as if nothing happened

and of course there will be enough "simple" people who believe the oh so great advertising promises

and

are then surprised that nothing works anymore and forums like "LL" flood and desperately ask for help

Yes and?

Spoiler

Fallout 4 AE?

Oh sh1!... That will be a desaster!

There's a bit of speculation that this update may detach FPS from the Havok engine.  No clue really.  All I know is the more crowded a place is, the more my FPS tanks.  Occasionally it stutters, but if I look down at a solid floor, it all seems to come back.  This new update MIGHT fix a few problems like that.  I just hope it isn't so much content as fixes to problems only they can fix, and haven't up till now.
