Current state of adult gaming modding

Hey everyone,

This is my very first post so, if it's been covered, I apologize in advance. I started modding with Skryim SE only to find that, at the time it didn't have the mods I wanted to be ported over yet. So, I went back to Skyrim LE. After many hours and going from NMM to Vortex, and now MO2 I have a semi-stable game. When there are issues, I usually figure them out on my own. I started playing Fallout 4 since it seemed the up and coming" (no pun intended) game. However, despite being a much newer game, it doesn't seem as though its graphics are good and the sex scenes were more like a flash game than a "sex simulator" Anyway, I digress. To get to the point,

1. For the most realistic (graphics, gameplay, and animations) what is probably the most advanced currently adult moddable game that allows fairly realistic simulated sex and not just "nudity mods", e.g., Soul Calibur VI and many others. In other words, is there another game that really pushes the limits (modded or original that pushes to the next level - maybe it's just Fallout 4 and I don't have the best mods. I'd like to try something more advanced it's out now. I'm not interested in the picture story ones.

2. For the upcoming future, what game looks likely to be the most likely to replace Skyrim as The "sex mod" game since it's become more dated (although much better than a lot I see out there). Which games look promising.

3. Finally, if anybody has any suggestions for games that are moddable or are just great stand-alone ones, please let me know. I've been trying to do research but, most of what I've found are Skyrim and the Fallout games.

Thanks

Edit: it's my 3rd post apparently xD

1) I agree with the previous post. Oldrim simply has a massive amount of mods, many of which are still being developed right now. (Try out sexlab or OSex, if you haven't).

With enough mods, I would dare saying Oldrim also has the lead in the graphical department.

Sexlab is great because of its versatility, but it is much less interactive. If you want a stand alone, interactive experience, check out OSex.

2) I don't know if any game will replace Skyrim as "the" mod game, but I hope TES VI does.

3) I only really play two adult/sex games. One is Oldrim with a lot of mods. The other one is a sex sim called "Honey Select". It is also moddable. Game is great with a translation mod and some graphic ones. I recommend it to you unless you don't like the asian or anime-ish style, since a lot of people don't. Look st some screenshots if you want.

I have also tried out Skyrim SE, Sims 4, and Fallout 4, but the amount and quality of the mods are not on the level of good ol Skyrim LE.

that will never happen in my opinion.
Beth has licked blood, they want to sell mods and give away nothing.
if free modding then under difficult conditions, without construction sets is modding hardly possible. :classic_wink:

I would like to see new vampire bloodline 2 like skyrim.. I mean bloodline 1 was awesome and I hope(just hope) bloodline 2 will be support modders. Just think about that vampire concept with sex would be a perfect mix.

Also my personal thoughts about sex concept..There must be another concept to make sex concept is succes. I mean sex shouldnt be only purpose in game.

Skyrim SE is fast approaching Oldrim in terms of mod selection and versatility, with the added benefit of better stability, especially on more advanced modern systems. Though this isn't really a case of comparison, as I have come across people who have systems that run Oldrim like a dream, but can't run SE for shit. Think of it more as two halves of the same coin. You can choose either depending on the system you run, and thanks to modders who volunteer their time to convert LE mods to SE, and the modders who create mods for both, you have a sizable selection to choose from regardless of what version you go for.

Yeah, I don't.  More CC, constant updates that break the script extender or mini paid dlc anyone? Fuck them and their shitty games. The more I look around at other games made about the same time, the more I realize they released a half-assed product and will do even worse with future titles. The most honest thing they could do at this point is just create a bunch of assets and release them in a mod kit while forgoing some lazily thought out and developed offering in the form of a "game".

Gratulations to your 3rd post! ?

There can be only one: skyrim LE! ??

(I might be a bit too focused here :classic_ph34r:)

Thank you. I agree with you from what I've seen I have both versions of Skyrim and have it relatively stable so without lacking the mods I like. So, for now that's for me until I find something better or finally switch over to SE, maybe on one of my other PCs.

Better Sex Cutscenes - WIP

The Dragon Age series is great. I got through most of the first one but, never got into the modding part. I can certainly understand where you're coming from as far as the non-consent mods go. However, I've been rather successful just avoiding the mods that are beyond my limits. Anyway, regarding Dragon Age modding, does it make the sex scenes that much better than the vanilla ones besides adding more nudity? If so, I'll probably give it a try since I have the game anyway. I just haven't done any modding outside of a mod Organizer 2 and I'm not sure I would do well without one (assuming it doesn't use one). However, it's probably not that much more complicated than dropping some files into a date folder.

1. Yeah, I look on sites like this and Nexus (yeah I know it's a dirty word here xD ) and there is a huge number of mods compared to another game including Skyrim SE and Fallout 4. OSex looked really interesting to me but, I could never get it to work. I don't remember if FNIS wasn't picking up on it right, my load order despite using Loot was wrong or something like that.

2. I wouldn't count on it. It already seems as though Bethesda loves just doing updates to break mods. I could be wrong as I've mainly heard this second hand. I now have Skyrim set so it doesn't auto update because I got sick of having to update SKSE and the other hassles. Although, that probably creates a dilemma when I want to download a newer mod or an update that requires the new SKSE.

3. I'm glad you brought up Honey Select. It is a game that I'm familiar with but, I've heard that it is hard to purchase outside of Japan. This is a problem for me since I live in the US. I don't put pirated games on my device and even if it was freeware (it isn't of course) I don't use Torrents because it seems like it's a great way to get malware. Are you aware of any legitimate site or sites that sell the core game, dlc, and maybe even have the English translation patch? that I love the "Asian or Anime-ish style" as you put it unless it has Loli in which they're obviously not meant to appear at least 18 (although that is subjective, I'd rather stay on the safe side).

Anyway, I've gone long enough but, thanks for the rest of the answers. They were definitely helpful and I've heard that the community here is great. That definitely seems to be true. I apologize for not using the spoiler tag on the quotes. I haven't figured that out yet (I'm someone who tends to make things unnecessarily difficult by trying to figure out things myself instead of just doing some research with the exception (usually) of modding since researching is almost a must.

the installation of mods in Dragon Age Origins, is much easier than Skyrim.
Open: Documents \ BioWare \ Dragon Age \ packages \ core \ override
in this folder you copy all mod files, and there are a lot of nice mods, as eg :classic_wink:

About Honey Select: Yes, there is a legitimate way of getting it. Fakku released a version of the game that comes already translated professionally by them. It is called "Honey Select Unlimited" and is DRM free, uncensored, and seems to support mods, although not all that work on the original will work on it because of the file structure or something like that. In spite of this, I have had no problems with it. The price is $60.

I don't exactly know how both versions are different.

Regarding OSex, it is very weird you are experiencing problems. If you use Mod Organizer and follow the instructions you should be fine. However, I recomend installing it in one of Mod Organizer's profiles different from the one you normally use. Like that, you can basically isolate the mod and run it with only the mods that you need (at least at first). Running it alongside Sexlab or with other mods that add a lot of FNIS animations is not a good idea.

If you need any help with getting mods set up I may be able to help, as well as many other people on this forum.

Thanks Winny for the links and info on Dragon's Age Origins. I haven't gotten a chance to mod it but, I can probably figure it out. If not, I'll gladly take you up on your offer to help. Thanks for the info everybody, including PurpleDeep for Honey Select.

Does anybody know of a good website for Honey Select vagina physics mod like an hdt-like one which won't have a high likelihood of containing malware? I read that there are 100's of mods for the game but, most of them are clothing or card mods? The only one I wanted for that was 2B from Nier: Automata but, it's password protected and one has to donate for it (which I don't mind since he/she has a lot of great work and I wouldn't mind supporting his/her work once I can afford it. I've also heard there are ones like cumflation but, can't find anything really. There isn't a place like loverslab that has them apparently. There is someone with a download to what's supposed to be a massive package of about 700 mods but, I've read that it may contain a virus. If it was loverslab posted, I'd feel a lot more comfortable with downloading it but, not so much.

Thanks
