Seraph of Caid Posted May 2, 2019 Posted May 2, 2019 Hello guys, I am having a major issue with CTD after I press New Game on Skyrim. I've done numerous tests by deactivating and activating mods, turning off all mods, and even resorting to uninstalling and reinstalling skyrim with no solution in sight. I'm not sure if a mod is corrupting my game or not. My PC is a pretty decent one so I doubt it's the graphics or anything else regarding tech. But any solutions and advise are greatly appreciated. Because I'm still a relatively new mod user. I'm also using the Caffeine ENB if that helps. Guest Posted May 2, 2019 Posted May 2, 2019 Usually your problem is due to a mod requiring a master that is not installed. With MO you will immediately see what mod is missing maters. If not, you can try to open TES5Edit with all your mods, TES5Edit will give you a clue.

dboura Posted May 3, 2019 Posted May 3, 2019 Also try running fnis and looking at how many pc animations is recognized. Sometimes a crash right after new game is clicked means too many animations I think the max on le is 10k with fnisxxl and 7k with fnis regular

Uncle64 Posted May 3, 2019 Posted May 3, 2019 How did you sort that loadorder, that is not one that loot should give you. What mod tool did you use when installing your mods? Edit you are using MO. What version of it do you use? And have you sorted your left side so it matches up how loot sort your right side?

I was running a game fine a week ago and now all of a sudden everything is broken So Skyrim just stopped running one day? Was it acting strange in any other way? Had you just installed some new mods? Were you able to load into TESVEdit like CPU suggested? If that works, then try verifying your Skyrim install with Steam. I was having similar trouble one time and that solved it for me.

If you have CTD before the main menu you are faulting of a master at 99%. Run LOOT and look the errors. If you have CTD when you click New Game you have excesive animations at 99%. Remove animations packs and run FNIS again.
Seraph of Caid Posted May 5, 2019 Author Posted May 5, 2019 Okay, Update on my situation, I simply just gave Skyrim a 100% clean reinstall. Unfortunately due to my best efforts I couldn't fix the issue so i'm starting form scratch. But thank you all for trying to help. I appreciate this greatly.
