Guest Posted April 27, 2019 Posted April 27, 2019 Bear in mind that you also have to consider the string limit, adding animations and certain mods cause that to increase rapidly, getting over the limit will also break your game.

Would this be the 65k string limit fixed by Crash Fixes perchance? That is a script issue not an animation issue and it wrecks saves not the game per se.
ahrimangame Posted April 28, 2019 Author Posted April 28, 2019 yup 0 character animation, ur right it seems my only option is to remove some animations from my animation folder... but i did delete some creature animations in Actor folder which helped alot since i have deleted many creatures such as dragons or mammoth and etc.

WaxenFigure Posted May 7, 2019 Posted May 7, 2019 Your problem is that you are confusing the limit in FNIS XXL (20,000) with how many animations the GAME itself will support. Prior to FNIS XXL the limit in FNIS itself was the limit. Now with FNIS XXL the limit the game will accept is now being reached and when you exceed that limit the game will simply CTD providing exactly zero guidance as to what went wrong. Now the OTHER question you are asking about why FNIS is finding so many animations when there aren't that many files is also quite simple. If some of those animations are included in BSA files you WON'T be finding them in your animations folder. I hope this helps clarify what's going on and gets you past this confusion so you'll be able to properly judge how to deal with these limits.
Nymra Posted May 8, 2019 Posted May 8, 2019 if you want to reduce animation count without losing whole animation packs, you have to delete animations individually and manually. I m doing this for some weeks now, bit by bit. I strip all SLAL packs of Creature and Character animations I dont like. I removed all old and bad animations from Sexlab and I also strip More Nasty Critters. I basically remove all anims from creatures that I seldomly encounter and most "non humanoid" creatures only get 2 doggy style animations each. That way I reduced my animation count by some thousands already. Character animations are tailored around aggressive/rape, because I use them for defeat scenarios. Also, there are mods that add animations that do not require FNIS (dont ask me how and why) but they seem to count towards the animation maximum but never show up in your FNIS count. I could reach 11-12k in FNIS log, but then I made a new profile with some new anim mod (MiniNeeds I think was one of them) and suddenly it dropped to 7k/8k. Also seems there is some other stuff you can do, read the FNIS thread in Nexus. In general: If the NEW GAME or LOAD GAME crashes, deactivate the FNIS animation mod in your Mod organizer and try again. If game does not crash, FNIS anim count is the cause for the CTD and you need to reduce it. I looked FOREVER for fixes, workarounds etc. But even having a better PC seems not to change that. I guess it is just the individual composition of mods that is changing the max animation count. So I now resored to making manual changes to tailor my game like I want it. For example when I install a new animation mod. I make a profile for that mod ALONE. then I check all the animations and delete ALL of the ones I dont like in the mod folder (delete HKX, delete the lines in the FNIS txt file and remove the lines from JSON files (for SLAL), too if there is one. With Sexlab you need SLATE to manually deactivate (toggle off) all the uninstalled animations or you get T-Pose (Sexlab Anims are hard coded). If you interested, follow me on this page. I plan on releasing all my modified SLAL packs and modified Sexlab with a tutorial in the future (I need the OK from the mod authors first).

COLOCO Posted June 5, 2019 Posted June 5, 2019 A way to delete or replace old sexlabs animation perhaps?!
ahrimangame Posted June 5, 2019 Author Posted June 5, 2019 well u can manually delete them ur self! anyway i have discovered some animation packs have confilict with other animation packs which cause CTD on load and makes you think that u have reached animation limit! this mostly happens with pose mods
