Hm, the bodyslide won't work...any idea why?

Probably 'cause of the Chinese characters. Try renaming the files. If that doesn't work, use the provided ShapeData files to create new BodySlide data. Basically creating a new project.

Hm...if only I knew what to rename them, no idea there.

Just copy/paste the Chinese part into Google translate, or any other translator. Can be tedious, but it should work.

Huh...so I need to rename the Shapedata and Slidersets files... damn.

They all bear names like: "GFB 魔剑英雄礼服 UUNP", and if I get you right I need tu rename all those to the same as the files in the other file, the corresponding meshes, in this case "hat", "Dress", "Pants" etc.

I can look at the .nifs myself and identify them... that should be pretty easy. do I need to rename the folders that contain them too? The bodyslide file carries folder names along the same line as the files they contain, for instance the folder below "Shape data" is named "GFB 魔剑英雄 UUNP".

How do they associate one with another, just by filename? Also is there any way to open the .osp files in the sliderset subfolder to see what's in there?

Not without rebuilding the project first. Chinese BS files are a pain to work with. It's easier to just create a new project from scratch, using the provided ShapeData nifs.

So...how do I do that? (sorry, I know this propably is the wrong place to ask, but still...)

Edit: I can identify them, but have no clue what to rename them so the programs will work together and properly associate the data sets with one another. Damn, seems like a nice outfit and even has heel-sound.

You mean creating a new project?

Urm... whatever it's called, how do I get from the texture set of that outfit (the non-UUNP file) to a working UUNP bodyslide for it?

Have you tried this:

1. Open Outfit Studio

2. Drag and drop mesh you want to work with from shapedata folder

3. Slider menu > import OSD > select osd file associated with the nif you selected in step 2

4. I just accept the defaults in dialog, experiment if needed

4. Click on sliders to make sure object moves as expected

5. Save Project As, fill out relevant info (this creates a new project and is your opportunity to remove foreign language characters but you  will need to edit esp to match whatever you change.)

No renaming of original files necessary, if you need to convert source to different body type there are tutorials around for th
