Horny Bees

A small puzzle hentai game made for LLabLogo.png.

The game is vaguely based on HuniePop.
Horny Bees is more direct and without the simulation of the romance.
Support this game (HuniePop), it is just 10 dollars on Steam.

You play 5 different mini games:

Candy
Yeah, you just need to align 3 or more items of the same color.

Tetris
Guess what? You should arrange the falling pieces to have full horizontals rows.

Sliders
Exchange the pieces on the grid, horizontally or vertically, until the full image is completed.

Matches
Uncover the cards to find the matching pieces.

Qix
Trace lines between the walls to fully show the underlying picture.

More you progress, more the character will gain different costumes. (8 costumes available in this version)
Doing some special trick, will make the character to change the clothes or undress.
And then some extra stuff. Because LoversLab...

After 100 levels (may change in the final release), more and more complex, you get the bonus screen.

In case you get a Game Over, the costumes and items you acquired will not vanish, until you stop the game.

How to mod the game

The game is moddable. (Not available in this version)
Check the specific thread here (work in progress)

New version released. Enjoy the BallGag (as mod) and the Cheat mode (but you have to find how to activate it.)

i like this start. each of the games seem to work pretty well, although my second time through the first game (connecting shapes), i ran out of moves (that I could find, anyway). you might think of adding a "hint" or "finished" button since there was no intuitive path forward.

i know this is a more streamlined version of the game you based it on but i do feel like it could use something to make it more than just playing random dress up. not necessarily a building relationship story, but it feels a little empty to have no feeling of purpose.

nicely done so far. i look forward to seeing where it goes from here. :)

You can toggle hints with F1. It works in all 4 types of games.

If you cannot do any move then you will see a "Game Over" message.

And now (next version) is also possible to add background images to the game.

Probably I will use this feature to add a minimalist story line.

this Honestly from the beginning was a game that I fell in love with. I might see about modding in Sprite based Sex from VH. maybe. my life way to often is spent trying to cope.

Progress Update

In the next version, other than the usual fixes, I started implementing the story mode.

It is pretty basic at the moment, but you can see how it works in the video:

hey @CPU,

Horny Bees is a great game suite. i was able to have it ran on my somehow overhauled 2011 21.5" iMac (specs below) running OS X 10.11.6 "El Capitan." the video card isn't the one described; yet it is a 2GB i installed after the original one burnt.

i used WineHQ v.4.0 emulating Windows v.10. your game ran smoothly on a 1920 × 1080 pixels resolution (note: i have TS3, Safari, Google Chrome, and few other apps opened — the reason my RAM is down to 13 GB):

i wasn't able to have the audio configured, so the gaming experience was far from complete; yet, if and when i'm (ever) done working all parameters, i'll try to compile it with Wine (another hard-almost-impossible task) so you may share it with other Mac users — if there is any around. :D

thanks for sharing Horny Bees;

cheers.

@ZenBuddhist

I was not expecting it working on MacOS at all.

I am building it again, from scratch, getting rid of DirectX. I will use only OpenGL in the new version (but for the audio I still don't know what to use.)

hey, CPU,

hope this finds you well.

as a Mac user, i never expect Windows apps to work on it. :) but then there's Wine — an open source program acting as a "compatibility layer" that allows computer programs natively written for Windows to run on Linux and OS X systems. Wine translates Windows system calls into POSIX-compliant system calls, recreates the directory structure of Windows systems, and provides alternative implementations of Windows system libraries.

don't ask me exactly how it works, but it does. :D

as far as Wine literature goes, its layers supply all necessary libraries — including DirectX up to version 12 —; yet, since Apple hasn't updated OpenGL since its 4.0 version (from 2010 i guess; the newer OS X versions will come instead with Apple's Metal), there are known issues when running games using DirectX 11 and above.

that's an OS X problem — not Windows' or Wine's —; something i'll have to deal with.

although not an emulator, there are Wine installations that allows compilations. i tried WineHQ with Horny Bees; it crashed several times before i could get it up and running, but still couldn't configure the audio. i'll try a different approach next time — Winebottler — and see how things work.

wish you a great Tuesday.

cheers!

edit: not Winebottler, but WineSkin.

I am completely rewriting the game by using only OpenGL.

Here is an example of the rendering:

image.png

The frame rendering time is ~57 milliseconds (~175 FPS)

And the text is way better (less pixelated) than the previous implementation.

W O W!

it surely seems smoother than the previous implementation.
i'll then wait for Horny Bees' new build before i work on a Mac/Wine build. hopefully, it will fully work!

great improvement, CPU!

cheers.

oh! and i forgot to say: i'm working on Horny Bees' Portuguese localization as well. also: if there isn't anyone available, i might work on the Spanish one too, until a truly Spanish-speaking person decides to improve it.

that's all for now, CPU. thanks for the hard work!

Thanks. But wait.

Probably the translation will be 100% different in the new release.

It can be an exercise, but the new version will have a different translation system.

Progress Update

The conversion to OpenGL looks fast.

Soon the game will be available again and 10 times faster.

Here is small intro preview. All is going at 60FPS on a 4K screen (in the next video I will show the actual FPS and screen size)

as a matter of fact, the girl's image seems less pixelated as well.
looking forward to it!

great job, compadre!

I am using OpenGL linear filter to draw the textures now. So it is way less pixelated.

Progress Update

The intro is re-done, and I advanced also in the new OpenGL UI.

Have a look, and keep in mind the video is quite huge (27Mb) and it is at 1080p size. It was recorded on my 4K screen at stable 60FPS how you can see in the title bar of the application.
