You should be good with any non-DD version that you have on hand. with 4.6 being the last version I put out for non-DD. Note though that the backbone mod is Vol.3 - Karma System. Without that one installed, people note issues of certain things in the other Elements volumes not working as expected (or at all).

Sadly, I know there are still issues with that part of the mod. I plan to dig into it this coming week as time allows.

You can just overwrite the existing stuff and you should be fine.

Hey flashy.  One weird thing happened playing over the weekend.   I was alone, had dismissed Ivy because I find companions break the scene at times.  

 

Character put up a good fight. (Not purposely trying to csa.

 

There was a long pause, after the 6th bj in a row (not sure why that was the only call)   the pause and standing around waiting because the scene was waiting for Ivy to get there from.across the map.

 

Meaning, if a companion is dismissed, csa doesn't see it that way....  and ivy then gave 3 bj.

 

Also, I got the better get out of here instead of the teleportation to sanctuary.  

 

Then pacification broke and I died.

I'll look at the companion thing - its possible its still pulling the companion from somewhere when she is still with you and then not flushing her out when dismissed. I will look into what is happening and try to correct it.

I have the same problem and don't know how to fix it yet. Surrender animation starts for 1 second, then nothing. Can't move the charakter.

 

Edit: I got it to work somehow. Startet from an earlier save. The problem was, after installing RSE, AAF was not loading. Now with AAF back on it works. Great mod so far i discoverd it makes a lot of fun and alters the gameplay a lot.

 

Only issue I have is, that there is no conversation. I looked into the MCM settings for RSE to check if the option with no conversation is turned OFF. It is, but no conversertion before event starts.

 

Can it be a bad load order? Or is it some other problem i did not found yet?

Might want to wait … there is an option to skip that 1 minute walkup (not 1 second).  Should drop to your knees, or standing, with hands up.  They have to walk up to you, speech (unless you manually surrendered), then AAF should be kicking in if you have setup correctly.

 

Could be script lag... Or in my case, as I reported to Flashy, my companion from across the map had to travel there for the "companion" portion of the CSA, even though she was dismissed... 

 

Of course, I have seen other times of lag, because all the parties of the enemy are not there and they wait for the whole group to come up to you.  Sometimes, if I have my companion with me, or I am doing running and dodging, I get away from my companion and other enemies are over by her... 

 

Did you try the CSA reset hotkey, if you set it up?

 

How long did you actually have to wait?  In all the CSA I have been in, the wait has always had an explanation, but other issues, not so much.  All I can do is report to Flashy and let er rip...

No conversation if you use manual (I think)… one way or the other, don't recall.

 

Oh, and stuck in place can be just simply waiting for AAF to get actors in position.  This can happen on flat ground... things happen.  It can be an additional 30 secs to over a minute for those to join in.  Especially if you are doing a 5 member gangbang... all 4 other actors have to get in place for AAF to finalize and start.

 

You can always check AAF to see if running by pushing home key and upper right corner will be the AAF wizard.

thanks for your reply ? and thanks for the tips. I fixed the issue with aaf not loading. But there is still no conversation before any encouter. Even when it happens automaticly. I set the HP start to 30 %. Then i surrender, oponents aproaching, but no text apears. After some seconds the rape starts on me. Between the 1st and the 2nd there is no conversation too. I tried AAF Violate some days ago. There i had a short conversation. I tried to play around with my load order, nothing changes. I hope i dont miss a mod for the extra conversation.  But i think it is implemented in RSE. Or maybe there is a conflict with some other mod.

Im working on this. Appears there is a hickup with the dialogue starting and immediately being stopped in the papyrus scripting. I'll have a fix in the next couple days. Its not you - its just something I overlooked.

In fact, I just corrected the code.

 

Try this version and let me know if it now works for you - if you get the before rape dialogue, then this is one issue that can be flagged as resolved.

 

Sorry that I am relying on you and everyone else to test this stuff... I am mid-development and mid-testing on my companion mod and don't want to mess with my load order and potentially mess up the save. For insight, I started coding my companion while still having Flashyplay installed as my animation player, so I dont have AAF installed at the moment, hence not being able to test these for-AAF mods...

 

Once Malia is done, I will wipe my install and do an up-to-date install of AAF so that I can go back to testing these things myself.

Hi i was curious, if my char surrenders..  gets on knees, then the screen blacks out..

Male char has erection, then nothing happens except my char faces one direction and walks in a strange small circular motion( moving in place and still facing the same direction)

 

Is that just a bad animation files

setup ?

or is aaf messed up ?(maybe the installation?)

or this mod doing something funny?

This was a fast update. Thank you Flashy. I gave it a try and it worked istantly. Works with Extended Dialogue Interface. So happy ?. The Raider had a lot of fun. I uninstalled the 4.8 at 1st and did a new instal with 4.8b. No conflicts so far. Thank you.

Must be something in your AAF messed up. This mod has been working fine for me for months...even the newer release. Only problem I have had is that CSA sometimes calls on my dismissed companion to be raped. When that happens, you will get some wierdness. Just make sure you have settings for companion turned off and try again.

Im definitely going to be addressing that in the next update. :)

In fact...

 

v4.9 Released - Corrects issue of dialogue not starting up at point of surrender (verified as working). Attempts to correct issue of dismissed companions being selected for rounds. This will need verification if fix is working or not.

Any thoughts why teleport to safety doesnt work?  Unless I was to be abducted and that didn't trigger correctly.  Because playing elements I have never been abducted.  Chance set at 50 and companion off.  With rse it worked fine but only to the plaza.  Nowhere else.

Edit: also at plaza I would be assaulted once. Then never again till they dumped me in a dumpster.  And never selected gender so it leaves field open. 

 

Also over the weekend, csa happened against a Male and female.  Auto surrender. Hands up. Ivy killed the male.  No candidates combat to resume.  The female raider should have worked.

Johnny, I wish I could test this stuff out - but my current dev environment is keyed to Malia and it lacks an install of AAF at the moment. So sadly and sorry to admit it, when it comes to testing these items out, there isn't much I can do at the moment until I have Malia completed. All I can do is look at the code and try to see where one of these items might be coming into effect, but the items you've listed are ones that are not so easily tracked in code...

Buddy.  I just did a fresh install.  Nothing installed except sim settlements.   I would be happy to offer my computer as your test platform.   You are welcome to PM, email, call or whatever and I will set it up exactly to your needs.

Maybe try to load an older save file for testing. I had the problem after installing RSE that AAF was not loading. Means RSE had no animation file to rely on. Give it a try. This fixed it for me. You can check if AAF is loaded correctly by pressing the HOME key. The AAF menu should then apear in the top right corner by default.

I would try replacing CSA with AAF violate to test to see if your AAF is working. Kythana's troubleshooting AAF thread (https://www.loverslab.com/topic/110701-troubleshooting-aaf/) also has a AAF testing tool that you can also try, but that will just test AAF itself. By your description, it sounds like it's not AAF specifically that is having a problem, but one of the animation packs that it is trying to load.
